I'm against the whole men women separation. As a full time 911 EMS provider I understand how important the collaboration of both genders are stoppp fighting like it's a genders warrr...
Hi I’m a 19 year old chasidish girl and I don’t really like commenting on RU-vid its just not for me but in this case I had ta say my opinion soooo I am really really really happy in my life bh as a erlich chasidish girl but I must say bh my family’s great and my friends and everyone else I know ijh oif varter!!but basically my life isn’t always a cup of tea and I’m fine with that because I believe struggles make u a better person and I have the right support and Guidance i need when I have to reach out so I’m ok bh but I must say it’s a constant struggle to do what I believe is really good 4 me but oh do I feel so good and shep nachas from myself when I’m in a good place so I must say unorthodox and all material acquainted to it might b someones real struggle but such a story is to exaggerated for my community bh really my belief is that when moshiach will come quickly ijh all those lost ppl well c and recognise what they have done wrong and hopefully join us in the geula,I’m not a navi so I don’t know what will happen but I know that any jew who might have strayed and rebelled terribly but makes a real real heartfelt tushava well always be forgiven so if they really mean it I guess they have another chance to make themselves better and ready for the geula and most of all I must say that if I wouldn’t b jewish or not chasidish or not in my community I would most probably b in the dumps a drug addict a dropout and in the worst of the worst places but coz I’m in the place I am in right now and I have good boundaries in place that’s y I’m instead getting better and better and not the opposite may moshiach come very very very fast!!!!!hatzlacha rabba in everything good u do!!!!
Stay strong in your faith! What you said is very right and this is coming from a non Jew woman that loves the Jewish people because of them I’ve learned so much about God king of the universe the one and only.
Do you shave your hair ( do some women in fact shave off their hair ) and what's with the jazzy wigs ? How is allowing your God given hair to be uncovered dishonoring God ? Why are sexual deviants within your communities protected only to continue their horrible crimes ?
There is no religion that is perfect. Just like there is crime within their communities there is also crimes within Christian’s, atheist, Muslims, white, blacks, Asians, Hispanics, etc. To put everyone in one box just because you hear the negative side of a story is ridiculous.
I'm chasidic satmar and I knew devora Feldman before she left the community. Her story is not a representation of our life. She also had many friends and a grandmother who really loved her and did alot for her.
Bravo mesdames ! J ai regardé le documentaire Juge et hasidique en français et j ai vraiment aimé tout le travail fourni par Rachel et toutes l équipe des filles afin de braver toutes les difficultés et la belle réussite qui s'en est suivie ! Bravo encore Hakim from Algeria
what you all together do is so inspiring to all women in this world. there is so much courage. I have great respect for it! The World needs more Rachel's ! 💚
Proud of Judge Richie Freier. A wonderful women and mother. I'm watching a documentary about her this night on ART. She deserve a Nobel price, she gaves a nice and powerful message of her community, we thanks and salutate her from Morocco.
I actually felt she did, but there are a few points. 1.the title of this video is very misleading, as there is one question regarding Unorthodox. The majority of the video seemed to be about Judge Frier’s life and the various causes shevis involved in. 2. In a sea of validating videos, written reviews and hate filled comment sections about chasidim, Orthodox Jews and Jews in general, she’s shedding light on what her community is for many members. She absolutely validating that trauma happened to the author and that she felt sorry for that. But she’s also saying that’s not what her community is for most. Unfortunately for readers of the off the derech memoir genre, the general conclusion is that the community is exactly what is portrayed for everyone.
@@shulamitkalish3060 - Thank you for this reply. Those who have suffered injustices should be an inspiration for those who want to right those wrongs ... blanket condemnation of an entire community that is a wellspring of joy for many loving, strong and happy people is a mistake. Instead we have to repair the wrongs and enhance the good.
With all due empathy for the woman who wrote unorthodox, I do not think she has the right to condemn the whole community for what she has suffered. Judge freier does not invalidate her or her suffering. On the contrary. And yet, why shouldn't she defend the chassidic community, the vast majority of which is innocent of the accusations hurled at it on all sides.
Thats because most of them can't relate to her story. Its so not the typical. Im chasisd satmar and she is someone I actually saw in the supermarket. Her story is not the typical and is not really a representation of our life.
I didn't read the book, but I know what these books are all about, a load of crap.. she might of had a difficult time growing up but how many non jews have a rotten life??? I did watch the movie though, again a load of crap... there is almost nothing in that movie that portrays real jewish chasidic life.. Please have the decency to tell the truth.. most chasidic families and friends are loving generous people who look out for each other and would do anything to help others so if you had a bad experience don't portray all to be evil.. It couldn't be further from the truth.
I have 1 simple question: why is the All-Men Hatzolah “fighting” to help Women deliver babies? All hatzolah members are erlicha yiden, who don’t look at women in the street, why fight to touch women at giving birth, when they can hand over this job to a group of women EMT’s?
It's not about sexism If an all male group tried to start a brand new EMT service, they would be inexperienced and naturally far less efficient than an organization (Hatzoloh) that has been around for decades. Their response time to emergencies by would take much longer than Hatzoloh and their staff would be less experienced more prone to making serious mistakes. That's the argument from the other side. An extremely popular orthodox jewish radio show did an entire episode on this dispute but couldn't find one Ezras Nashim volunteer to agree to come on the show to respond to the critiques. That should tell you something.
Thats why you have Ezras Nashim volunteers come on the PIX11 show to respond to critiques, they are not hiding, they are not shy, they speak out the truth.
What a kangaroo biased board, its so corrupt to have 4 Hatzolah members on the Remsco board who voted against ezras nashim's ambulance, its like the rusbashkin case, where the judge was the prosecutor and the judge together.
great job chavie and the whole ezra nashim crew although I'm a Male I still support ezras nashim no matter what you guys work hard everyday and put your lives on the line to save others. It is sad hatzolah had to turn you down only males can do EMS or emt that is bullshit they are probably hating or just jealous you go girls
J aurai adorer vous rencontrer Madame vous etes une sources d inspiration et de forces..... dommage que je ne parle pas l anglais et habite pas aux states...... j aurai adorer travailler avec vous.......

I find it strange that the women claim that hatzala don't accept women to voulentior in the organization. in Israel there are many women who voulentior for hatzala orthodox jewish, secular and Muslim women as well. is the hatzala policy different in America?
The Hasidic community has its good and bad. The women who work in school buses are placed in a situation where they have to deal with, "Jewish and non Jewish men," who are not their husbands. The religious school are breaking the law as it is. The ultra orthodox women are not suppose to work in school buses unless they are certified to do so by the state of N.Y. "OPT" Office of Pupil Transportation. They are also required to take medical examinations which they don't. These school bus teachers complain about being in the presence of men who are not their husbands, but they also fail to realize that they are illegally working in school buses.
Your movie is extremely difficult to find a copy of. Please release it wider on Digital Release (Google Play and all) or get it on a Streaming service like "One of Us" was. It will help more people find it and see it!
I have been a paramedic for 14 years if it makes them happy I don't see why women can't feel apart of hatzolah so be it let them have fun I'm all for it god bless
