1:23 this genuinely makes no sense to me u tell us to grab the mouse this way but then you literally twist ur wrist in 2:07 which changes everything about how you hold the mouse
@@Ilovejesuschrist012 it’s a sequential explanation of how to hold the mouse…. I can’t describe multiple components at the same time. So I have to break it down piece by piece
Alot of analysis and movement observation informed by my expertise as a physical therapist / orthopedic clinical specialist and the past 8 years working in esports across every major esport title with the pros / teams. We typically perform pre-season assessments for the teams we work(ed) with (100T, TL, FLY, Shopify, NRG, etc.) which have given us more overall insight with in-person analyses and movement assessments
that's a good point, it would mainly affect the finger position. He staggers his fingers though to acount for that though. I would imagine if he used an ergo it would be straight
From what I was able to pull together, it seems he keeps his wrist on the table. Only with larger angle flicks where he has to lift his mouse will he have to lift off
wrist pain... started getting some pain in my wrist recently (and fear it may develop into carpal tunnel syndrome) so any more stretching info would be much appreciated
Hey check out my other resources and videos! Most of the time stretching only provides temporary relief. Performing endurance exercises is what will help provide long-term relief. We also have free guides that help you understand a bit more here 1-hp.org/gaming-wrist-pain/
@@1HP I'm doing the exercises for about 2 days and my pain already decreased about 80%, this is just a miracle honestly!! i'll keep going and pray for my full recovery, thanks a lot 1HP guys, u should be called 100hp for real LMAO
Good content, but I'm surprised not to see any mention to the right click movement and right hand pain. It's supposed to be by default the biggest reasons of this situation. And all ADC players are expected to suffer from it. That's how I ended up here.
I do all of this but it’s still very bad. I have a feeling that my keyboard wrist is from using a wrist wrest which I didn’t always do, but I’m so conditioned to it that when I go without, I can’t find the perfect spot and I go either too high or too low with my wrists. I’ve tried adjusting monitor height, chair height, keyboard distance, wrist wrest positioning, everything. I now have terrible wrists, either arthritis or the beginning stages of carpel tunnel at the age of 19. They pop with any movement that isn’t perfectly straight, my muscles spas and even clenching my fist hurts, severe pain after a while and I do take breaks My mouse wrist is just as bad, if not worst. Could be my mouse being too small for my hand or wrist positioning, I’m not sure which it is. My online business, school, and hobbies take place on a computer so I quite literally am on it all day, and even with breaks and trying everything it’s terrible. I feel like I’ve screwed up everything. Expensive peripherals already, with the worlds fastest rapid trigger hell effect keyboard (wooting), yet I’m genuinely thinking about trying out ergonomic boards. I wish it was easier to explain more, but if anyone has any idea of what this is I would greatly appreciate more advice. I’m hoping it’s not permanent, I see people (primarily streamers) who are on their pc even more than I am and who’ve done it for decades more than me yet they say they’ve never had any problems? Asmongold is one who comes to mind
