I think that Amatsu has the same ability to control monsters as Ibushi and Narwa do, and that it had "crowned" this particular Zinogre as an Apex, thus dominating it. In fact, I think Amatsu is the source of all the Master Rank Apex monsters you can meet during Anomaly Investigations. Anyway, once it had dominated Apex Zinogre, Amatsu ordered it to patrol the area so that none would disturb whatever the elder dragon wanted to do. However, the stench of Utsushi's Stinkmink (note the white smoke on him at the start of the clip) not only lured the thunder wolf to the battle, but broke Amatsu's control. The Zinogre is thus not only attacking out of its species' instinctive hatred for Amatsu, but out of rage for being stripped of its own will. As for how you were even able to ride Apex Zinogre, it was because you had TWO sets of Wirebugs to work with. Also, just before you ride it, Zinogre shakes off the bugs for a moment, only to be smacked by Amatsu, allowing yours and Utsushi's Wirebugs to join forces.

Never forget that proof of a hero is canon as the hunter you played as has heard it and sometimes whistles it when calling your palamute. Which means it was a song that was created to honor hunters who overcame the odds and defeated monsters that could level countries thus becoming true heroes. Which could be the reason why the song is always slightly different and why it always plays during pivotal moments swapping out monsters like Fatalis' theme with proof of a hero when its near death, You're stopping them and proving you're a hero

Honestly though, I really enjoy crown hunting, but cannot ever be asked to do arena stuff... I just wanna play Switchaxe, don't make me play another weapon that I know I can't use. Congrats though :D

If anyone have ever played Monster hunter world: iceborne edition, furious rajang grab was much more brutal because it did way more damage from the beam pin grab and you could not escape the finisher which dealt way more then the beam, nearly or can kill you + it was an AOE slam which can deal same damage when it hits other players. Iceborne Rajang was the definition of black airforce energy, bro gave me ptsd until made a unga-bunga fatalis hammer build.
