We do have a charge even though we have a well. We pay a monthly charge for water softener and iron filter and then a charge for the water softener salt every couple of months. You could pay for the equipment up front and not have a monthly charge but you have to maintain it and put your own salt in. The systems are pretty expensive to pay up front and most people I know just pay the monthly fee so that if anything ever goes wrong with either system, the company comes and fixes it and you don’t have to pay anything.
@@livinginsanantoniotexaswit1340 Well 🤔🤔🤔.. If I stay in Texas.... It will either be Dallas or San Antonio ... If I leave Texas.... I may just move back home to St. Louis..... It's just WAYY to expensive in Austin... Don't want to have to work 2 jobs... I'm tired lol... I kinda want somewhat of a social life 😆😆
REALLY? SERIOUSLY!?!. Boerne was the place for my best childhood memories (in the 70s')and it STILL the place to me. It's a positive atmosphere for me and I wouldn't trade it for anything!. The only drawback is it's expensive to live or visit, but worth it.😅
Question: why do Texans INSIST on pronouncing German and Spanish words incorrectly? Ex: San JUHCinto??? "Burney"?? (should be "Bearnuh" from the original German). I say this as someone who lived in Texas for 12 years and am thinking about coming back. But then I remember the little things like this 🤔. And the weather 😆
So many RU-vidrs in Boerne... @MuscleRodShop @OperatorDrewski @OutontheRanchwithDrLee-xb4lo @DonutOperator @OffTheRanch @holdenbros910 @DemolitionRanch @VetRanch
great video! sadly it’s so difficult to find out what is being built or changed in this town because we’re growing, building, and changing so many things so fast! so thank you for sharing this information. so excited for the bucce’s! it is a wonderful place to work and shop. do you happen to know where and when it’ll be built? we’ve been waiting for like six years because of permit issues. :( also there is technically another high school, it’s an alternative high school called boerne academy. personally i graduated from there in 2019 so the name and location has changed since i believe. i went to champion high school and i struggled with personal mental health and family tragedies that made a regular school impossible.
Thank you so much for the feedback! I didn’t know about the Academy! I need to check that out! I also forgot about Geneva! 🤦♀️ I’m not sure on the Bucees! I swear they keep pushing it back! Permits are so hard in Boerne!
Thanks, I'll start using "Fake Boerne" lol. Raised in the southside of San Antonio, then spent 17 years living in the SeaWorld area before it got crazy. Then moved to south Boerne/Fair Oaks in 2019; and now it's getting crazy around here lol 😂
I agree on the limited food choices, it’s still 2-5 years out before some better options are presented, then the question will be to fully staff them of a reg basis with small turnover. I don’t get an inconvenient amount of wind over by the plaza where i live. Boerne Main street literally shuts down around 6pm; if Black rifle stayed open until 9p, and free roam continues doing well, and hamby & blacksmith grill got their food act together, them all corners of main street would better overall for anyone have a great night out in Boerne
Glad you agree! I love the small town feel but see how much it’s growing heading into Boerne! We spend a lot of time there and with small kids it’s hard to feed them with simple stuff they like! lol so picky!! Omg the wind where I’m at is insane! Guess it just depends where you live. I want to hang a wind chime but it will always be chiming! lol Free Roam will continue to be amazing! They are getting more food trucks in and have great beer and outside environment! Blacksmith i like but feel they are closed a lot! Boerne really is the place to be! In time it will be even better! Appreciate your comments!❤️
I LOVE Boerne! The video doesn’t really hit on too bad of things but to some people they might not like the small town feel! Gotta make sure people know it all!
I'm a motorcyclist, and as you know, we ride through Boerne all the time. There're some places along the river there that have some delicious pies and deserts. And, before they shut it down, the El Chaparral restaurant was a great place to have dinner. Boerne was the first place we considered living when we moved back to Texas. Beautiful town.@@livinginsanantoniotexaswit1340
I've lived in Boerne my whole life, the traffic here is stressful now, the development can not keep up with the population inflation we've been dealing with the past 30 years, it's literally aggravating, I wish people would stop moving here!!!
I'm 9th generation of the area. That visitors center? Was my great great grandparents HOME. Now a Walmart? All the surrounding acres was my family home. I can't bring my grandchildren. My dad won't even drive by
the population of SA and Austin are about the same! so we got a lot of folks here too. The difference is SA has more space and is built with 2 loops so getting across town is slightly easier. I drove around SA on a Friday around 5pm and there was NO ONE ON THE FREEWAY. My theory is b/c it's more family-oriented so they GO HOME. vs living in Austin, more people go out after work so the activity between 3pm - 9pm is higher with the tech companies that have more choices for work hours.
Is esperanza considered real boerne or fake boerne? It has a 78006 zip. Moving there soon and wondering since i will enroll 3 kids into baseball and softball
