Double sided printing is a nightmare on L3250. I need to press a button on a printer EVERY SINGLE FU??ING PAGE so that the printer proceed. What an imbecile designed that!

What a ridiculous practice... Just let people print... It should be the simplest thing to do on a computer. I came into ownership of a second hand epson printer Workforce Pro WF-4820DWF with nearly full ink cartridges.. I have to print some crucial documents for tomorrow only to find that i cant print from a printer that has nearly full ink cartridges because of a stupid subscription thing essentially bricking a perfectly working printer. The crazy thing is it literally says "ready to print" on the app 😂 I now have to rush out in the morning and hope an internet cafe is open early.. Thanks Epson.. remind me never to buy one of your products new. Avoid. Wasteful, greedy and dumb practices..
They allow you to print test pages though directly on the printer... Giving you false hope that the printer is perfectly working and ready to print documents.. 😆 so you can print test documents with the printer but not your own documents 😂. Great thanks for that.
Hello @ademw7, Thank you for contacting us. We would like to inform you that the Workforce Pro WF-4820DWF is not compatible with the readyprint service, and therefore, you will be unable to use the subscription cartridges. Best regards, Epson UK
@@epsonuk3868 It literally has ReadyPrint "Flex" printed all over the box and worked with its current cartridges with the previous owner, but now that the previous owner have ended their "subscription" the cartridges are bricked.. A subscription to keep access to ink cartridges... wow
Dear @ademw7, Thank you for reaching out to Epson UK. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have faced. Please be aware that the readyprint cartridges are designed to function exclusively with a subscription. If there are any issues with your account, the cartridges will not be usable. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Best regards, Epson UK
I just bought this printer a month ago and I discovered something reaally annoying and quite upsetting: even if you do NOT printer borderless, the printer tends to dump ink on certain positions in the overspray sponge (you can see clearly dark ink lines: use a q-tip to see how much ink is dumped....terrible). Now the P900 overspray sponge is a seperate entitiy and not linked with the waste ink tank, unlike the P800, where the overspray sponge is attached to a small canal that has a slight slope towards the waste ink tank: so any ink dropped onto this the ink will drop onto the waste ink tank on the right lower part of the printer. The P900 overspray sponge does not: So instead of moving the print head all the way to the right side to dump the ink of intermediate cleaning cycles it tends to dump it on the overspray sponge too. Now those who do not want to have their overspray sponge to be soaked with ink and deliberately choose NOT to printer borderless will be deceived. I am in contact now with several people around the world to address this thing (planned obsolescence) to force Epson to issue a new firmware where the print head moves completely to the capping station where it can dump its ink during (intermediate) cleaning cycles, so the ink can be sucked into the waste ink tank and let the overspray sponge to be immaculate as possible. I have contacted Epson recently and I hope to get an answer about this.

Hi! Kevin, I am trying to look for a document scanner for more than two weeks already and having a list of required specs : 1. scanned OCR-PDF can be automatically saved into an SQL Database functionality/capability 2. paper weight of 50 - 70 gsm 3. up to A3 doc size (mostly, I see in your (other) videos is A4) 4. higher number of papers to accommodate. Hopefully, you can suggest one for me that has the list of specs, especially the OCR-PDF saving into an SQL Database. Last question, do you have two different types of DS-50000? I am seeing this DS-50000 Color Document Scanner (Model: B11B204121) and this DS-50000 A3 Flatbed Document Scanner (Model: B11B204501). Are these one and the same? Will be buying the unit in the Philippines. Thank you in advance and your informative products video.

It seems to me that these new generation Epson printers 🖨️ are not built to last!! But Epson marketing department is saying the smaller size and weight are a feature. Just look at the Epson P5000 etc to see what a well built A2 printer 😊should be built like. The Canon versions, Canon pro 300 & Canon Pro 1000 are built like tanks. In fact the Canon Pro 1000 weighs more than twice as much as the Epson P900, that should signal to you the difference in build quality. I’m afraid Epson has cheaped out here. I know a well known UK inkjet paper manufacturer that says that the Epson P700 & P900 have been nothing but trouble for their customers, so much so that they don’t even bother with them anymore.
This is trying to put a happy face on a pumpkin. Nobody except someone with time to waste or an econut (same thing as a person with time to waste) is going to stand in front of a printer flipping pages. I bought this printer expecting proper duplex printing to be the norm and was disappointed to find it isn't. Nice enough a printer without this deficiency.

No way I have to buy a subscription for a printer that I'll use less than twice a month, a friend just gave me his EPSON XP-2105 and it's ridiculous that I just want to print two pages but setting up a printer is unnecessarily complicated thanks to this stupid subscription, like I have paper, ink and my document, why do I need this stupid system just for printing a document?
Dear @KevinLopez-vu3yj, We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered. To use the printer without the subscription you will have to use the normal ink cartage not the ready print one Sincerely, Epson UK Customer Support Team
This is my second, Epson printer which has stopped working they are just not worth the money, imo.Another printer hardly used but has one issue after another. Thermal printer nextime for me. This app didnt connect my XP-255 257 printer.
Dear @chrissy212e, We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered. Can you please provide us with the problem so we can help you further. Sincerely, Epson UK Customer Support Team
@epsonuk3868 Hi, thank you for your comment. After messy around with it yesterday and putting in a new cartridge, it started working. This is after It refused to recognise a genuine cartridge and connect to the Internet for hours. This was a cheap model, but in the three years I've owned it, it's been used less than 20 times due to multiple error messages. Thank you 😊
Dear @chrissy212e, We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered. we are glade that the printer is working and if you have any further questions. We are here to assist you in any way we can. Sincerely, The Epson UK Team

I started by using the very first colour Epson Inkjet printer which also means I have been around for a very long time. I do like the 900 but Epson hates or just ignores my operating system, Linux, which is too bad for me and them I guess. I do have access to a print service so I will probably stay with that so that I don't have to deal with operating systems that I abhor.
Dear @HermannKerr, We extend our sincerest appreciation for your patience in awaiting our response. We deeply regret any inconvenience the delay may have caused. but looks like we don't have Linux drivers for this product. Sincerely, Epson UK Customer Support Team
@@epsonuk3868 I am well aware. My professional working life was in I.T. I was a huge fan of the technology Epson has produced. I created a revolution in the forest/wood products with the 2550 (I think I remember the number right was colour impact printer). I had people from all over the world looking at the system. Mostly It was a modern database approach handling inventory but the flash were the colour coded tags, that caught a lot of attention. For your software and drivers you could just add a wrapper so it to interface to any operating system. Mind you, when I though of that forest product system I got a lot of negative feed back until it was up and running. I remember the first day when the shipper looked out the window and said, "you loaded that truck wrong, may be this is going to be that bad after all". Years ago, a dear long time friend and artist was swinging over to digital printing and I directed him to Epson dealer in Vancouver and he never looked back and he did a lot of work on the side doing printing for other artists. He became quite the expert. I want to thank you for your response.
Dear @HermannKerr Thank you for your kind words about Epson's technology! We appreciate your passion for our products, and it's always inspiring to hear how our printers have been used to create innovative solutions. Sincerely, Epson UK Team
My Epson LS12000 has developed a dead pixel, Our official supplier/distributor in South Africa is having a hard time getting any joy from Epson International with regards to replacement parts, I see so many threads where other customers from other countries get their units replaced within 1 to 2 days, I am on 2 weeks now without a projector. Very unhappy Poor Customer Service from Epson for South African clients. Epson Epson South Africa

OK a few things... First.. im a big Charlie Waite fan. I love his work and i love his ethos. But... Talking about truth and finding out he started his career on a lie isnt truth or integrity that he speaks of so much in his images. Its quite sad that he felt he had to lie about what he did. Second there isnt really any truth in this video because the shot was summer and the video made was in winter. Overall, this whole marketing vid is poorly made and doesnt give good light to both Mr Waite nor Epson. Pity.
But he said the truth, as clearly if he wasn't a photographer he had not being able to show an amazing portfolio in four days. What he meant rather was that he had not translated an activity he loved into something professional. In architecture two giants like Tadao Ando or Frank Lloyd Wright weren't architects but a carpenter and a civil engineer respectively, but their love and years of experience doing architecture made them big names although you could say, by what you wrote, that they aren't telling the truth and is a lie when they say they are architects.
For PDF documents printing: Print all uneven pages first, then take the papers, turn 180 deg, put into input, then print all even pages IN REVERSE ORDER (Under "Print Range," check the box that says "Reverse Pages.")
