Hi Jo Moon. My wife is Chinese and from Chongqing. I’m from Wales UK we are moving back to China very soon . I realized she was not happy in the west and it was not difficult for me to make the choice to go back to China where I know we will both be happy . We have a great Chinese family and circle of friends there. I am looking forward to making my own Vlogs once we are back in China that I want to post on Chinese and western social media sites that show a side of China that many people in the west don’t see. The good side of China.

Funny thing about brand names. My Chinese wife of course likes the brand names and loves shopping at the luxury brand stores. However, I recently discovered that it doesn’t matter what the name is, as long as it’s not a name they associate with something cheap. Here is the funny thing. I was cleaning out the garage and my wife spotted a Makita bag, you know the ones they include free when you buy a drill or whatever and then never use. I had tossed it to the side and she zeroed in on it and ask if she could have it. She loves it and now uses it as a travel bag. To be fair it is a really nice bag and I certainly prefer it over any overpriced stuff that everyone has anyway. Maybe I’m just rubbing off on her a bit.
Jo moon. You have some good advice for people looking for a partner not just in one country but everyone. I just want to say thanks for encouraging people like me to be honorable and respectful in these relationships.
That guy in the suit is right! Having a good personality and being compatible is very important. Appearance is secondary . That guy seems to have some wisdom in that noggin.
As i have told my daughters most women do not work to make the world better. They do not want to do the things that show that they care about others and the society they live in. That's why most of their jobs are easy jobs that others can do without higher education although they go to school for it. They work to aquire things, to be looked at, although they make a living but for them it's more than that. Most men do not work with ambition, it' not their nature. Men work with purpose and that's why these and many other women will stay single. Many women have ruined men because women make a lot of men loose their purpose. That's why as you see many men are not dealing with woman. A man will do more when he has a purpose and that's what makes women foolish toward men. Not knowing the nature of men. What is the purpose of being with a woman when she want marriage and her being married isn't about the marriage and the things of marriage at all., what will come of it. Having a woman who wants you to accumulate things and objects so she can gloat over them and be looked at. There is no purpose in that. It's just a dead end to accumulate inanimate objects and staus. How does that make the world and society better?
Wow, that 50/50 thing was a real eye-opener. Either they are super entitled, or this Jo Moon is a hypocrite. You can't say women in China have become independent and have good jobs etc and at the same time say they will never go 50/50. Expecting the man to pay for everything does not exactly make the woman independent or self-sufficient. That just makes them entitled. No wonder the asian populations are declining, which guy would want to enter a relationship under these circumstances...

Thank you for this content. I was considering Thailand and Philippines, but then out of curiosity I expanded my search to China. So far all are too good to be true. They perhaps see Americans as naive dummies 😂
I had came across with a few stories where western men were being taken advantage by Asian woman and after they got what they needed and wanted and they were no where to be found and these stories are out there and especially from western men’s from what I was told and heard from that who have been victims got into this kind of mess usually feel shamed and embarrassed to come out and to say or speak about it and basically are just left helpless and as well all of these stories had these marriage upfront money involved that the groom had to give the bride and her parents these large lump sum of cash before marriage and once everything was done they just flea off and these were decent income Westerners that couldn’t find real legit love in there native western countries and had thought they could by going to certain countries like China, Philippines, Thailand that could have a real deal love but ended with a big lose, Just for us westerners beware and don’t be too desperate or if anything sounds too sweet or good to be true always think twice about it and the good and bad are in every country and race too, But again from stories and drama that I had heard that real true love is not always easy and what you think it is.
