Hey everyone We are a family run shop on its 56th year, based in the West Midlands. We post videos every week of new stock of fish and plants that we get in.
I think we may have been scammed on the Angels lol? Ill be down Friday to take a look. Im after a Hillstream loach, Honey Gourami and some small tetras (not decided yet) Don't suppose i can reserve one?
@@sedgleyroadaquarium3367 oh yeah Angels always look good tbh. I didn't see any Honey Gouramis in your video but im going to assume you have them. It will be one of those preference is a female. And a Hillstream Loach as my clean up crew. Only have a 64litre Tank so i need something small. Plecos and Flying Foxes may be too big
@@formula_bob I’m pretty sure we have all those in stock. I’ll check when I’m back in work Friday for you. But I’ll make sure we have them saved for you for collection on Friday 👍
Those baby Uaru look awesome. They grow pretty big. Main body turns into an olive green colour with a dark spotted colouration near the tail. Notoriously sensitive to water conditions but are very good to keep with the Discus fish. Not for the beginner thats for sure. Lovely collection this week great to see those flying foxes back as are a favourite of mine, i could honestly watch tropical fish all day lol. Did you sell all those Panda loaches last week? Can't wait to see what you get in next week.
@@formula_bob hey Thank you for your comment. Hope you are ok. And thanks for the info on the uaru. They are lovely fish. And no we didn’t sell all of the panda loach. We still have a few left. Thanks
@@sedgleyroadaquarium3367 no problem, i love talking about fish and learning about the ones you dont often see. Im ok thank you apart from a dodgy foot.
Like the advice on the Tiger barbs especially for beginners. Panda loach never seen before but pricey. Do you have any pygmy corydoras for smaller tanks. Interested in those otos as well.
@@formula_bob hey It’s taken us 5 years to get the lovely little panda loach back in stock. They are adorable. And always been expensive little things. And we do have some Pygmy corys in at the moment yes they are £4.50 each, 5 for £20.00.
Highly recommend your plants. I managed to separate the bunchs and fill my 64litre aquarium very nicely. Plus cuttings like Hygrophilia can be chopped down and they regrow very fast.
Lovely to visit you all again today really pleased as always with my purchases the emperors have settled in really well the plants are stunning!tank looks amazing!see you all again soon❤❤
Went to see the shop today and this is the best I have seen for a long time. All tanks very clean, all fish healthy,- exhibiting the colours you usaully get when back in an established aquarium, no dead fish in the tanks. Very good dry goods section and they even stock fry food. I have kept aquariums in the past and I'm an avid follower of various aquascaping channels and could hear that the advise that the staff were giving customers was very knowledgeable. One customer was told that as they had only just set up their tank that one of the species they were interested in couldn't be bought until the tank had matured for several weeks - so refreshing to hear an aquarium shop prepared to refuse a sale for the benefit of the fish - the customer appreciated the advise and said they would come back in a few weeks time. The only downside was that I haven't set up my aquascape or quarantine tank yet and there were 6 types of fish that are on my list buy. I'm looking forward to going back and being spoilt for choice once my tanks are up and running and matured.
So sorry guys!thats my daft husband trying to be clever again!!he's a nightmare if he isnt wanting a submarine he wants red tail sharks in a community tank what a turnip!!!

Hey Thanks. I tell ya what We have had lots of new ornaments in this week, no submarines though haha. Thanks for your comment, and see you in the shop soon.
Hey Yeah no probs. My memory is terrible but I shall try me best to remember haha. Check out our Facebook page as well we usually post on there if we get any new rocks or wood in. Thanks for the comment. Lizz ~x~
@@baldcat59 well this was 6 years ago But from what I remember they was stressed as we only just had them in. That’s why i was taking the video, to show new stock that had just come in. We had just started our revamp. So they was in this tank for about a couple of weeks for quarantine then moved to the new blocks we had set up with better substrate for them. They survived fine though. We fattened them up nicely as you can see they was a little thin.
