Very helpful video. In particular mentioning which way to face the hinges on each door and use of the VIX bit. Very pleased the hinges and bit were delivered quickly and the video made for a trouble free installation.
Duhhhh....take out old, replace with new. no part numbers or explanation. I have 32.160 hinges --- can I just change to 33.160 both with 110 degree opening?
It amazes me that over the last 14 years this video has not blown up! I love this stuff! Recently just got turned onto seamfill! Great product as well!
DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM THESE GUYS. I had a horrible buying experience from them. I accidently made a mistake on an order. I tried to get a hold of the company by phone and email. The phone you can't talk to anyone, and by email they never got back to me. I ended up having to reorder what I should have in the 1st place and throwing the original ones away. There are lots of GOOD places you can order everything they have.
@@merlesking Honestly not sure. But I remember if there was any imperfection in the log like a pebble or staple it would damage the blade and leave marks in the veneer. And they would have to go over and smooth out the blade and possibly replace it if it was bad.
Was wondering what machine cuts wood that thin, never thought of a giant wood plane blade. I'm guessing that every log needs a freshly sharpened blade.
One blad lasts maximum 1 day :-) But sometimes they need to be resharpened even in the middle of a log if there is a particularly sharp thing like metal in the log. Saw that in another documentary about this!
This stuff is the bomb for filling laminate countertop seams. Mine are faux concrete in light gray from Ikea, I ordered light gray, dark gray, and mixed them together for a third color and applied it without thoroughly mixing all color together so it would blend with the faux concrete. Seam is hardly noticable now 👍
Hi iam fitting some clip on 110 degree overlay soft close hinges with a euro plate, the 35mm hole sits 5mm from the door edge Can you please advise me how far in the holes should be on the carcass for the Euro plate. The door thickness is 18mm Hinge type...CC110SEC2/PB Thank you Andy
Have tried numerous times over several years to get the soft close to reconnect. It most certainly isn't as easy as the video shows. Terribly disappointed.
I'm sure her hair was just out for the video, she was wearing ass show off jeans too. She was probably disappointed that they didn't show her face. This video is old though, I used to dress like that on the job during the 80's and 90's. I'm a long haired dude to this day. These days, i keep it tucked in a hat.
There is no demonstration here. i want to see a drawer in action. How much force is requires to open and to close a drawer ? Does it stay closed, meaning that it takes more force to open the drawer than to slide the partially opened drawer ? Your video lacks critical information.
Why not just slide a tape measure in with the door open and then close it to see the overlay? If that didn't work for some reason then I would apply painters tape or masking tape on the frame to make the mark on rather than mark the cabinet.
This is NOT how the factory says to assemble and will result in a weak and wobbly assembly. There ate sooo many things wrong with this video. Check out the one from revashelf to do it right.
As someone who works in a plywood mill, it's pretty disturbing thinking about working without a hard hat making that stuff. It's saved my life at least once
Duuuuudes! I have been looking for this hinge for 5 years. I cannot believe I am stumbling onto it now. Just ordered from Cabinet Parts.com. Please please please tell me it works! I cannot wait to get this fixed and off my "honey do" list.
