How did you train for the stairemaster portion of the test ? Did you go just the 3.20 sec or did you try and go longer ? If longer how much longer and did you use the 75lb vest or the 50 ?
Most definitely first things first just know you are going to have the instructors throw a lot of information at you so try and read the chapter before class take your own notes and add to them while your instructor goes over it make a study group as soon as possible and Study your anatomy and physiology don’t be scared to ask questions stay motivated and disciplined and don’t get intimidated by all the work it takes to be a first responder you got this!
I have an interview with the San Bernardino fire explorers soon and I’m kind of nervous because I was a pretty heavy smoker not so long ago, will they drug test me during the interview or anytime during the first part of the program?
I have a question, I applied for the LAFD fire explorer program on Google, but I haven't gotten a reply from any of the explorer programs, so should I go to the nearest station and ask them if they're doing a program? Or should I just wait for a response? Because you said you would've been a fire explorer when you were a senior, so is it just that timely?

I’m currently 26 will soon be 27 in January but I joined a volunteer fire department when I turned 16 and turned me gear in at 21 and quit now thinking back I wish I wouldn’t have quit and have been thinking of going back to a different department. I quit because we hardly ever got any calls

There’s study’s that show there’s no need for a clean shave. It’s a joke at this point to have a clean to shave in the departments. There’s a difference in a BEARD and a little fuzz
The one fall to this: If you have an instructor that does NOT instruct. Now, you've dropped a couple grand for a waste of time, energy, and effort. Ask around first, before you decide on where to take your EMT class.
I've been thinking of joining the fire explores, so I was trying to do some research on it and I came across this video. So my question is do you have any advice or do you think I should know anything before joining?
aqqle sauce The fire explorers is a great option to learn about the fire service I would highly recommend to join other then that learn as much as you can and make sure to show up to the meeting about 15-30 minutes early
