Honking happens when you press on the center of the steering wheel, so they were probably panicking and bracing for impact, rather than making a conscious decision to honk the horn.
I just had this happen on a trip from TX to FL in my 2017 Volt. I'd just stopped for gas, pulled out onto the freeway and got the CEL. I scrolled through the DIC and saw my water temp was over 220, so I changed modes to electric and took the next exit and stopped at a park. I checked all the normal stuff (coolant, oil, gas cap, etc), then I started the engine in MX mode and it was pinging and missing. I thought then maybe I had an ignition issue, so I drove to the nearest large auto parts chain store that was open that early in the morning. They pulled the code for the high limit reached, meaning it was running way too lean. Fortunately, there was a Chevy dealership nearby. Even more fortunate was they had 2 Volt techs there. Unfortunately, the service advisor said it would be 2 days before either could even look at the car. The SA pulled a more comprehensive code which basically said the fuel pressure had glitched, the code was no longer active, and I could drive the car. But it may do it again. I rolled the dice and continued. The car ran and drove fine and the light eventually cleared itself after 3 or 4 fuel stops. After seeing your video, I think I'm going to make an appointment with my local dealer.
my 2017 just got the same code. I cleared the code and will post when or if the code comes back. I believe too much methanol in the fuel is what is triggering this code. As stated in the video, take it in and get the re-flash and don't worry about it any more.
Looks OK, to many loops. One thing, though the actual unit or softener is not a carbon filter, if it is, then you got ripped of or purchased the incorrect one. The softener has resin pellets that remove minerals such as calcium, lime and several others. Then the softener goes into regeneration or backwash mode pulling salt water or brine from the brine tank, which you call a trash can looking thing through the resin removing the minerals deposited or stuck to the resin and flushing them down the drain. Think of resin like magnets 🧲 and the minerals are like paperclips 📎 and the salt is like a demagnetizer. Minerals stick to the resin and salt cleans the resin.
I like ur idea about the oil drain hose out the plug. should tell us the od of the hose and the oil filter number as additional info. thanks again tho.
Good quetsion. I started on the left where the water came out of the house and worked my way to the already mounted pre-filter. Then just followed it around back to the water softener. If I could do it again, I would go with some type of flex pipe. If there is ever a leak, I would have to re-do it all because of the PVC glue.
I’ve 2017 ecodiesel I got year and half ago But on highway too it gives 22-23 mpg Any particular services or part change I need For high fuel economy??
It all depends on how big the pipes are coming out of your house. For me, the pipe that came out of the wall was 1” copper pipes. The water softener I ordered was 1” fittings. I did have to do a copper male threaded 1” end and then a PVC female 1” threaded end to connect together. That way it was cheaper than going all copper.
Alot of people don't know that the 07 which i have same model was the year 450r made most horsepower to this day the 2021 makes couple hp less and 07 450r was the first year they introduced the 5mm tilted head on motor super iconic bike in 08 what made it a il better was they added a stabilizer to her to keep her even more straight just a lil fact history lol thank me later
@@scottrivera1091 My house was pre plumbed for a water softener. If you won’t have the U coming out of your wall already you will have to plumb it in yourself.
Tyler, I will have 2 Wyze plugs controlling 2 sets of LED under cabinet lighting that I want to have both come on and off together. So I have to create the on and off rule for each plug so both sets of lights are on the same schedule, correct??
You should be able to create two rules (one to tell it to turn on and one to tell it to turn off) and add both plugs to the same rules. I have outdoor low voltage lights and I use two separate smart plugs but they turn on at 5pm and off at 6am.
My 2019 Fusion Energi originally have the battery mileage over 25 miles per charge. It has down dropped to 13-15 miles per charge. Has anyone else experience this and what is the fix. I've had the dealer look at it and they have no recommendation on how to fix it or increase the mileage back to where it was. It has to be something wrong with the battery system but it has shown no codes indicating what the problem is.
Wow, how crazy is this software, just to set a simple timer. The worst software I've ever seen! So setting a timer is the most common activity I use for Wyze plugs, bulbs, and light strips, and I need to go through 10 steps for each item's time on and than again for times off. Sure makes old mechanical timers attractive!
So I recently have the door bell pro I also have 4 v3 cameras but I get no notifications for my door bell pro do I have to do the same with the door cam to get notification?
