@@semloh1960 I'm sorry I don't see a procedure for a car that does not have that display but I will read the directions to You word-for-word 1 Turn the Ignition Switch to on Position two 2 To Display the Engine oil life repeatedly press the select reset knob 3 Press and hold knob for 10 seconds or more it should start blinking then release 4 Press the knob for 5 seconds or more the displayed maintenance item should disappear and the engine oil life display should return to a 100% Good luck 4
I hear in the video there is a ticking noise coming from the engine. My car has the exact same ticking noise. And I was wondering if this is a normal noise or if I should take it in to get diagnosed.
You didn't mention it but I could hear in the video that you have to hold down the accelerator on the last one. That step makes a difference. Valvoline wasn't telling me that part and it wouldn't go off for weeks. Finally went off just now. That was the only step I was missing
