What do you use for the wacky rig? I just bought some swimbait jigs from you they were very nice. I also bought some baits from 412 bait company per the advice on your website.
I use mostly worms for wacky rigs finesse, cigars, and other smaller worms. Glad you like the hooks. Great choice 412 baits are great some of my goto baits

Glad you’re getting them. I struck out three times over the past three weeks at a shore area. I could barely get to it and it was full of debris. I thought they might be in a small creek mouth, but no good. I’m guessing I’m 20-30 miles below you.
Thanks! That combo is a Shimano Zodias Travel spinning rod 7'0 Medium. The reel is a Shimano Stradic CI4 2500 (I have since replaced with a Shimano Vanford 2500) The line is Gamma Edge 8lb test.
I remember when it went to 28' in 1996. I had friends that lived down there and I remember shoveling dead carp out of their living rooms!! This is really high and I feel bad for all the people that live along the river!
I still don't understand why they don't open the dam ahead of time. I mean all of us fisherman were looking at the weather a week ago and saying it's going to flood. To me if they opened up the dam it would lessen the effects of these major floods by a lot. I know the weather forecast is very inaccurate and it's impossible to predict the future but Worst-case scenario they let water out early and the dam is low for a while? idk that seems way better than destroying peoples homes...
