No vivi tanto esa época por que tenia 11 y 12 años no iva mucho a capital pero en los 2006 y 2007 en los musimundo se podia escuchar todavía la musica en las maquinas se escuchaba muy bien
By far the sacd is best. Just listened from hifi rose to freya plus to wilsenton r8 to verity speakers. And I thought I might sit in the listening position all day lol.
Aunque creci en los 2000 todavía recuerdo los Discman incluso asta la fecha conservó uno desgraciadamente ya no funciona pero tengo la idea de arreglarlo por desgracia es un aparto que es difícil de reparar pues al ser aparatos muy antiguos que ya no se usan es difícil conseguir las piezas.
@@amateurmusicresearch1972 Gracias por esa información pues tenía pensado en arreglarlo y si eso no funciona que por lo que veo ya no es posible pues entonces mejor compraré uno nuevo soy un aficionado a cosas antiguas y me gustaría tener un Discman nuevamente.
if they are not on spotify that doesnt mean they dont exist. some of the stuff I like is not even on the internet as a whole. and from what i usually listen to only like 50% maximum is on any streaming platform. a great bunch of music is actually not on the internet or properly ripped to a decent quality

Apenas mire tu video y me acorde que tengo un Philips touch. Del 2006 lo busque hasta en contrarlo y jala al 100 despues de 18 años saludos amigo creo que el CD aun da vatalla
Por esto aun vale la pena el formato fisico, ya se a en cd o vinilo , qué puedes encontrar albums qué no estan en streaming y si estan solo tendran 1 o algunas canciones
Yo quiero, anhelo uno con todas mis ganas, soy amante del formato fisico, me encanta lo retro, y tengo mis discos favoritos en cd, tambien tengo un reproductor pero es de mesa. Y yo quiero uno portatil para cuando vaya en el transporte o en el coche. Lamentablemente no he encontrado ninguno usado de buena calidad como los del video. Solo estan los que venden en mercado libre o amazon que son de calidad cuestionable 😞
Hola, son todos de mercado libre de argentina, actualmente hay muchos publicados, algunos pocos que parecen estar bien de Sony o Panasonic. También hay algunos nuevos y muy caros, pero de marcas cuestionables. Buena suerte!
In 1973 they released vinyl and cassette, also 8 track. The CD says 1973 on it but they started being manufactured in 1983, Japan was the only country where they were made at the time...
i think the first record when released was very good, all others and in cd are very poor in sound quality and also not respecting the first excelent production, some people say it sound better because they cut some parts that sounded bad when digitalized to have less noise compared to the record when released, it´s like a good cassette recorded on a cheap cassette deck

De hecho surgió una tecnología que con solo introducir un código numérico disponible por las mismas televisoras automáticamente el apartamento programaba para total comodidad 🇲🇽🤘
si era complicado, se podía dar el caso por ejemplo de que el cassette no tenía espacio suficiente, o se podía poner pm en lugar de am, o se podía borrar sin querer algo anterior, etc etc
@@amateurmusicresearch1972 errores que se podían evitar poniendo atención y sin embargo varios de nosotros los cometimos. Y yo una vez simplemente olvidé apagar el VCR para asegurar el ajuste 😏
One thing I don't like in any CD version is how quickly 'Here Comes the Sun' follows 'I Want You (She's So Heavy). When you played the LP, especially the first time, you needed time to catch your breath after that abrupt ending! Then it took you a while to decompress while you were turning the record over. It follows too closely on CD and is just jarring, not in a good way. I think it takes away from 'Here Comes the Sun', especially the quiet beginning as your ears haven't had time to adjust from the loudness of 'I Want You...'.
mmmm, well one way to fix it would be to burn your own copy to flac or cd, and add a few seconds of silence at the end of I want you with audacity or similar program...

Ahora es mas "facil" con las compras online... Pero el placer de ir con una idea en la cabeza a comprar un disco y al final llevarte otro no tiene comparación. Estar horas revolviendo las bateas y otro tanto escuchando en las maquinas. En fin. Recuerdos que no volverán

I have a few of these pressings, including the first Sony Japan mastering, the 20th Anniversary Doug Sax re-mastering and the 30th anniversary Hybrid/SACD. To me, this album begs to be listened to in surround, and so my favourite is that 30th anniversary 5.1 channel SACD. Re-mixing DSOTM to five channels must have been quite a task. Unfortunately, it shows in this 2003 re-mix. It starts off beautifully, with instruments and the voice interjections and laughter distributed in various creative ways among the 5 channels, with sounds coming from all around. Maybe it's my imagination, but by the time we get to the album's stunning climax and the final three tracks, it seems like Guthrie just left almost everything in the front stereo channels. It's as if the job just wore him out in the end and he wanted to get it over with. I also love the 1974 quadraphonic mix; I think it consistently makes better use of the back channels and keeps the listener in the center of the sound field. But it also has some serious omissions--again, particularly in the latter tracks. Try listening for the bass guitar line in Brain Damage. It's just. . . gone! I don't mean muted or pushed to the background; it's just not there! It's as if Alan Parsons was pissed off with Roger on that day for some reason and said to himself, "Sorry, you're not making the cut today."

The first three albums are definitely my favorites, from first to last. It's very hard to improve on a first of anything, whether it's music or movies or whatnot because all of the fresh ideas and creativity and raison d'etre go into that first effort. The Dream of the Blue Turtles is my favorite, hands down.
It's a historic album, right now I would rank it higher than I did, MErcury Falling I would rank a bit lower, in the end the first 4 albums are all high quality.
