Hello Bev Thanks for the question they are very mild if eaten raw and if cooked the taste is negligible but worth growing for sensitive eaters! Thanks again for watching
Keep reseeding in new garden soil and mist them every day and use shade cloth until they get over the stringy growth Most important don’t give up it’s a learning curve 🙏
Hi Kathy Thank for the comment! It’s a in ground bed with last year’s soil We grew Swiss chard and tomatoes in that spot for 2022 Keep watching I’ll post a garden tour soon and thanks again
@@angiefigtree9550 so it's "no till" because it was tilled a previous year? My landlady said I could put in a garden, but much of the yard is taken up by a tree's root system. Right at the surface, too!
@@kathyl6677 Still no till garden it’s just in the ground and off the patio Kathy you can do it under the trees Lay down brown cardboard overlap the gaps water it before adding compost then direct seed lettuce onions garlic cloves too! Cover with insect netting if you have rabbits and squirrels Keep in touch Kathy and good luck 🌷
