I am about to replace the flywheel on my 280 skid steer, pretty much is going to be the same process, any tips you want to share? how many hours do you think it took you from start to finish (I know you said in your video that you did that in parts.)
It's probably gonna take one long day if u have all the tools. The big bolts that hold hydrostatic pump mount is the biggest challenge . Take lots of pictures and replace any house that questionable. Their pain to replace later. Good luck
That same thing happened To me Working on my sprinter I forget why we had to remove radiator and those threads just desinigrated and new radiator was needed We put never seize on threads but good video
Thanks for the video. I have to do this with my 326D. How did you support the front end of engine when you took off the engine cover plate which typically holds the front end of the engine. Any other helpful tips would be appreciated.
I'm reinstalling the hydrostatic pump support plate. The previous owner removed the flywheel cover to replace it and stopped work.... the bolts holding the support plate to the flywheel cover in your video were all missing according to him. I've purchased the replacement bolts for installing. My question is regarding the bolt that has the rubber washers sandwiched between steel cup washers through the body of the skid steer... can you describe for me what pieces are inside between the skid steer frame and the hydrostatic pump support plate... when I am positioning the pump support plate without anything between the skid steer body, the flywheel cover and the pump support plate are poorly aligned and to get them to meet up flush, I will need to raise the engine... I can see the steel washer in your video. Is there a rubber spacer under it on the inside?
Crane on the job site is part of the Modular home set up. Ones the house set on foundation the roof raised and secure in place. The whole process take between 5-8 hours depending on house size
