My great grandparents used to live just outside Prineville. I had a lot of fun at their old house, and I had a lot of fun at the resivoir and in town. It's tough driving three hours over a mountain to get there, but it's worth it every time.
@@jasonsperatos6412 haha, it’s hard to get lost in this area. Everything circles and loops back into eachother! We’ve found a few routes that surprised us where they ended us back at.
I remember when Thriftway (back when it was called Erickson's) had the bakery in the area they have the deli now, and the deli was on the other side of the store by the produce section.
Could you explore or perhaps talk about general NW redmond area? Esp near the La Casa Mia / farm-rural area that’s still part of Redmond? How’s that general area?
Hello! Just discovered your channel, looks amazing, lots of cities in Oregon covered. I'm a French dude who accidentally (willingly?) fell in love with Oregon even though I've never been there. Thanks for making those videos, super helpful!
The train used to service all the lumber mills in town, but after the mills closed it had some bad times. It is now running strong. It begins on the north side of town and proceeds west. It eventually follows O'Neil junction road before going through the country and farms to the junction with the main line at the Prineville junction just north of Redmond, Oregon.
@@LivingInRedmondOregon My wife is from Concord, NC. I married her in 1989. I would like to return because the temps her with the humidity is rough, however central Oregon is getting super hot summers.
The third neighborhood I talked about was Triple Ridge - Right across from Ridgeview High and has a pool. I have a few friends who live in this neighborhood and they have a special community and bond!
You would be taken back by all the changes that have happened, it ever surprises me when I haven’t driven in a certain sector for a few weeks! I also grew up right on the canyon as well (Rimrock Dr.), I loved it! Where are you at now?
If I had to take a guesstimate, I would say that they probably have about 1,500sqft of Indoor Seating area and probably that much, maybe a little more outside!
