Hi Everyone! My name is Hannah and welcome to my channel! I will be sharing my attempts at growing and preserving my own food, my favorite vegan recipes and a few home DIYs. Please subscribe and join me on my journey from big city girl to (maybe) small town gardener.
Dehydrate the tomato skins and then run the dried skins through the blender to make tomato powder! You can add it to soups and stews, or add enough water to make fresh tomato paste or sauce!!
The CEO said they did a lot of R&D when it came to what material to use for their bottles. The majority of consumers said they wouldn't be comfortable using glass bottles. That's why they decided to use Tritan plastic.
I have the same problem, I have gone through the book a number of times, nothing in the index either. My book has both the 2006 and 2012 dates alongside copyright etc, but no edition number. Just saw a video from Stacey can can and she shows all the details under the 'more' header, this recipe is from the newer 2020 edition. I could see that Hannah's book had slight differences to mine, but I wasn't aware that there were changes to recipes in the various editions.
9:00 Maybe you could put nail or super glue in the Blueland embossing to prevent grime from getting trapped in there as a fix. They should have designed it something like that to begin with.
Hm yea they could make curves in the dish soap bottle like an hourglass for better gripping. Sounds like you could be putting it somewhere else if you’re knocking it over all the time?
haha yes, the moment to find all the bay leaves in the meal...I usually forget to count how many I put in, so it makes it harder to know that I've removed them all :P Great video, I've been getting into having more prepared meals in the freezer. It's a good feeling to have. Love Shepard's pie, I'll make that for the freezer using lentils and/or beans.
I'm so happy to have found your channel, after MUCH searching for a vegan canning/preserving/gardening type of channel. Subscribed with bell notifications on :)
I wish you had more subscribers, you definitely should, as your content is really good. This soup looks good and I'll have to try it. I've just started pressure canning this year myself, and have cooked baked beans and jars or white beans, and black beans.
Interesting review. I first tried their foaming soap with a bottle from Amazon, but it clogged easily. So just ordered the Blueland bottle to see if it was better (before reading your review). Regarding the bottles - have you tried the Dazz Cleaners and hand soap? The bottles are all different but I don’t know if the tablets are the same.
Maggie Dunklee - I didn't buy the starter (round glass) bottles for the hand soap because they wouldn't fit on my bathroom sink, I don't have a vanity counter, just the sink. However, I have used foaming hand soaps before, and using those dispensers once empty worked just fine. And I love the scents of the soaps! Definitely bought the tablets again.
Great job, I liked the recipe and going to try it. I’m curious though…I’ve always been told you can not use a pressure canner on a glass top stove…can you comment on that?
Hi! New fellow vegan subbie here. I watched this video and then went and looked at your other videos and saw you had veganized recipes and even pressure canning recipes. I am planning on doing that myself this summer, but wasn't sure how to start with modifying recipes that might include meat. The Big Ball book only has two meat free soups in it. Do you have any recommendations?
I have the containers for the laundry purely because my laundry room has open shelving instead of cupboards, so me I display my laundry detergent! 🙋🏼♀️
Thank you for the info, starting my first garden this year and will also be canning for the first time. I am also wfpb and there isn’t a ton of info/ recipes out there for canning other than just plain ole veggies in a jar. I’ll be watching to see what you come up with!
Thank you for the honest review! I was tempted to purchase the starter kit but with your advice, I'd rather save my money and just buy the refillables.
