My name is Pieter and im from Belgium. I am a fan of everything that has to do with cars. That's why you see different things here Like SimRacing, Car Meetings, Upgrading My Car, and so on. Have fun watching and hopefully I'll see or hear you in 1 of my live stream greets
I just bought these monitors and can't get them to run at 240hz using DP, the image looks like its loosing information (interference). I bought 5m cables that should handle this resolution (32.4 Gbps bandwidth or 8K 60Hz), as my PC sits at my desk with my 4th monitor (LG 45" 3440x1440) and the rig is a few meters away. When changing the resolution to 120Hz, if I keep VRR on and try to create a multimonitor setting with NVIDIA surround, the monitors start flickering, turning on and off. I can only get them to work at 120Hz (Game Mode ON or OFF, doesn't matter) with VRR OFF. Connecting all 4 monitors doesn't work at all, there is always one that doesn't turn on. From my understanding after reading on the internet its due to a limitation with DSC, my LG 45" will actually use 2 ports virtually and occupy one of the DP. I have a pretty modern PC, AMD 7800xrd, 64gb DDR5 and a 3080. I would appreciate if you could contact me to see if I can troubleshoot them with you, as you seem to have them work flawlessly. I'm going crazy here.
On my OBS I use (Mode) specific window opening. Game capture setups are; record curso and hook with anti-cheat compatibility. For image multiview 7680x1140 This is how I have it set up.
You activate nvidia surround ? I use srwe app for assetto corsa competizione but it doesn't seem to work with helldivers. Anyway, i receive tomorrow my 2 new side screens (acer 27" qhd) to finalize my setup. Until now i was using 2x24" fhd and 1x27" acer qhd. I diy my own bezel with an old 24 screen, but i still need to find the right size and spot to fit them perfectly. Thx for this video !
Hi, thanks for the video. I'm actually looking to upgrade to triples at the moment but the country i'm in at the moment has very limited 32" panels for sale, and shipping to the country is not really an option. The only place which has stock of the same monitor has multiple Samsung G6s however I can't really find many reviews of the product. Can i just confirm the model you have is a Samsung G6 LS32BG650EMXUE ? If so how happy are you with them?. My only concern is the bezel is quite large but i've seen your video with the bezel kit mostly sorted it out. Are you happy with them and have you had any issues with them? Thank you very much.
Hello, the monitors you can buy are the same as the ones I have. They are actually exactly televisions because you also have a lot of apps on them that you will never use. Image quality is very good and would be even better if I have another graphics card, because I currently have a 4060TI. You will have to put in some time to get everything straightened out. Also with the bezels. Because after a few weeks I loosened everything a few times and placed it better. So you will notice that once you have played a few games that everything is fine. Am I happy with my setup? Yes, I am very happy. It really makes a big difference and is more fun to race. If you have any questions feel free to ask!! Thanks for your comment. Greets
Hi, at what angle did you put your monitors at? Were you able to get the bezel free kits to work? I'm under the impression that the bezels are just too thick on these monitors to work with the bezel free kits? The fact that the edges of the screen are angled means that I can't put the screens against eachother edge vs edge. I set them at the ideal angle of 60 degrees, but if I want to line up the edges I'm under the impression that I would need to angle them more.
Great lap mate, not bad at all. Small tip, try not to overscrub the tires so much, thats when you turn the wheel too much and go over the level of grip
@@LCDsim I also do ACC a lot as I prefer endurance, I’m lucky that I learnt how to drive formulas through my karting coach IRL and I drove formulas before GTs
If you buy everything new such as PC, speaker, monitors, bezels, SIM seat.... Then I think around €6000. But I bought some things second hand so I'm at half (or a little more than half)😅
I'm thinking of investing in these monitors for a triple monitor setup as well. What are you going to do with the bezels? I've heard that you don't need to remove them because you can set the views in a game so that part of the car interior is behind the bezel so it doesn't bother the view.
Received my Bezels last week. This week I will try to make a clear comparison as to whether it is necessary to buy the bezels or not. As I see it now, you may not need the Bezels. Because as you say, you can set the screen perfectly. But I'm curious whether it will make much difference.
Personally, I think the rims are very good. No cracks or anything anywhere. The paint is also of good quality. they may weigh a little more than the expensive rims. The logo (Jr) the J is red, but that disappears after a lot of washing and then becomes silver like the R. Would I buy them again? yes, I think they fit nicely on the car.
@LoudlyCarDrivers thanks for your reply , I have a set of concaver cvr 2 on order and they look exactly like your japan racing rims , they both come from the same place in Poland I believe. I think they will look great on my maserati granturismo.
@@diggs345lr Yes, it is possible that they come from the same factory. They will look great on your Maserati. nice sound by the way. I wish my fk8 made a deeper sound like that, but it's only a 4 cylinder so I can only make it scream 😅
Maybe it's in my head, but I feel there is a difference. I feel the FFB better now. The reason i think this is because in the qr1 (in my case) there was more deviation. So the Qr1 was a little looser and now it really feels tighter.
I upgraded last night and initially I had the same issue you ran into where the cable from the base wasn't coming out enough making it tough to connect the cables. What you have to do, which is shown in the instructions, is to twist and unwind the cables 10x which will let that second connector come all the way out of the base so you can easily connect it. Then wind it back up and then insert the connectors back in. I switch wheels often so the quick and easy install/removal was def worth the price. I also felt that I was getting more information from the wheel than before.
What you said about the cables is true, I also read this afterwards. But the QR2 is a very good improvement. I'm glad I bought this and as you say it's definitely worth the money.
Nice video! I have a CSL DD with a McLaren GT3 V2 wheel and the QR1, mine is a lot noisier than it “should” be… that clunk noise why you go over the kerbs. I’d like to upgrade to the QR2 but I’m from Brazil and everything here is crazy expensive … but in the future I’ll upgrade mine ! Cheers!
I have been racing with the QR2 for 6 days and now everything is secure and no more noise. It is also super easy to remove your steering wheel. So it's definitely worth the money. Thank you for posting a comment. maybe see you on the life stream. Greets 🥳
