Hi, welcome to my channel! My name is Jacquie and I hope that you join me to explore our Beloved Earth :)
My goal is to give you information about places or things that you might have on your list of places or things you would like to do or visit but you hadn't thought about adding.
I believe it was around 5 lira, I would suggest bringing your own toilet paper or wipes just in case. I honestly can't remember how much the water bottle was but there are a few convince stores right off the port!
How many hours did you spend there and when did you visit please? What’s on top of the mountain? There are 8 of us in the group and only 4 to 5 hours at this cruise port. Thanks!
I went Sept 2022, it was still hot and busy. Everything from food, shops, tour guides etc is on top of the mountain which requires you to take the stairs or cable car. I did a guided tour which took us to some of the popular spots in Oia. I was probably there no more than 6 hours. I would suggest allotting an hour to get in line for the cable car on your way back. The lines get really long especially when everyone is trying to return to the ship within the last hour they are on the port. ATMs were down so take extra cash with you!
The castle from the port Is about a 3 minute drive but I would recommend walking as it is within walking distance. There is one shopping center as soon as you get off the cruise but there are others within walking distance (Dağ, Şöförler Sk., 09400 Kuşadası/Aydın, Türkiye and Camikebir, Kışla Sk., 09400 Kuşadası/Aydın, Türkiye). I did not purchase anything at either of them, I just walked around so I can't say which one is better than the other.
Hey Jacquie! I hope you're doing well. Thank you for sharing your insightful Embarkation Tips with us. I've noticed that you have an amazing RU-vid channel with 109 valuable videos. However, I couldn't help but notice that your subscriber count and views are relatively low compared to the quality of your content. I believe optimizing your channel could significantly boost its visibility and engagement. Let's discuss how we can achieve this. Looking forward to chatting with you soon! Best regards,
Super helpful! I’ve never been, so this info is gold. I’m curious, what kind of vehicle do people usually take to get up there? Does one need chains or snow tires?
just like an i phone, they should take a rubber hammer and break the screen and give it to you with a dead battery when you buy it, that way you will know what to expect, and i think this was a waste of time. @@tierraquerida
