I don't see how Tai Lung could team up with Po. 1. Chameleon needed Po's staff to open the spirit realm door to get Tai Lung. 2. When Chameleon did get Tai Lung, she took his kung fu. How would he even be of any help? Also, by the time Tai Lung came around in the film, it was already late into the movie so I don't see how they'd fit in the amount of time needed to build up this trust between Po and Tai Lung given the time of the film left. They'd have to make it longer and push out Zhen a little too. She IS a VERY IMPORTANT character! 3. If Tai Lung did in fact manage to escape without the use of his kung fu and get to Po and Zhen, wouldn't he try and take his revenge? I believe in second chances but... 4. I think it's best Tai Lung didn't become dragon warrior because look at all the things he did! Terrorized the Valley of Peace, tried to choke out Shifu, nerve attacked the furious five, and lastly attempted to kill Po! Is that reaaly who you want as dragon warrior?! I love that guy but still...!
Finally, I've been waiting for someone to make a video on this topic. I like your vision and I wanted to see something like this you know. Shifu and Tai Lung's conversation and their reconciliation, and forgiveness, like Uncles Iroh and Zuko. And I really wanted him to stay in the world of the living, and the chameleon to take his place in the spirit world, so that he could possibly be a protector and mentor for Zhen. It's such a shame we all missed out(
I love Kung Fu Panda 1 and the whole trilogy. This first movie is just so powerful. The secret ingredient is you. It's not the most original message, but it's done so well. The film teaches that we can't control everything, and that we must be the best versions of ourselves. After Tai Lung technically did "be himself", but he wasn't a good version of it.
The amount of effort you spent on this video about my favorite trilogy (I'm ignoring the 4th one cause it never existed) just made you my favorite RU-vidr!!! 🥰🥰🥰😭😭😭🥺🥺
😭🤦♂️ this so stupid man. its cool if u like the adaptation. but objectively it is bland, it took away a lot that made the original good. it had actual world building, there was mystery. in this its so straightforward they tell u whats gonna happen before it even happens
For me, it's an 8/10 for season 1, and liked it, it's not perfect, but better than the 2010 movie. I'm not those type of youtubers who made rants about things that don't matter, I just watch the series with an opened mind, and don't compare it to the animated version. And I'm glad it's not a 1:1 copy and paste, cuz it would've been boring, like The Lion King 2019 for example. I hope Season 2 and 3 are better than Season 1, just like Book 2 and 3 are better than Book 1, and I think Book 2 and 3 are easier to adapt than Book 1, so we'll see for 2 or 3 years when it comes out.
I am thankful I liked, but didn't love, the original cartoon series. I see some of the shortcuts taken in the live action, but as long as the live action series and episodes remain true to themselves and there is an internal integrity there, I'll continue to like the live action. I actually felt that Book 1 of the cartoon would sometimes drag a bit and felt like parts of some episodes "padded the runtime" a bit. Overall, my opinion of Book one was probably 85 or 86 and season 1 of the live action was like a 81-82. I am hopeful that subsequent live action seasons will begin to develop more characters a bit more fully. I'm not sure how many seasons they would like to make. If it's just 2 more then I will have to be satisfied with great production, good plot and pacing and so-so characters.
I hope that Albert Kim or the netflix executives takes these criticisms to heart and let beauty of the show speak rhe narrative instead of the exposition of the actors.. We only need exposition to explain the fantasical elements, but we’re smart to figure out how the characters are feeling. 👏🏽speak 👏🏽less 👏🏽use subtext
