Rules is rules!! It's stupid anyway that in women's ball, the whole fuk'in' team can come out to the plate to celebrate a homer. Keep yo' asses around the dugout area like the dudes do & this wouldn't happen...
Out of all of them, Randy Johnson was my favorite. The only way The Big Unit could finish his perfect game was with a strikeout. It was the perfect ending for him. Complete for his style and mystique.
Saw Felix pitch the last perfecto in MLB history, got offered free tickets, got the boss to let me off work early, sat in the sun and decided for this one game I'd just chill and not get any beer, so I sat the whole entire game and watched every pitch by Felix, started counting the outs in the 3rd inning, initially as a joke, but by the 6th or 7th inning everyone around me was asking me to say how many down, how many to go.
I was there on July 18. Don Larsen and Yogi through out the fist pitch. Bald Vinny yelled for Yogi to jump on Don Larsen. In the first inning Paul ONeil makes a sliding catch and we had the rain delay. Finally i witnessed it all of us in the bleachers hugged and celebrated!!! It was fantastic!!
No mention of Steve Nebraskas' perfect game and two solo HRs to give the Yankees a game 1 win in the World Series vs the Cardinals in 1994? 27 strikeouts on 81 pitches is something I think we all should remember.
I remember randomly catching Randy's PG - I had just gotten home from my freshman year of college. Hats off to the Atlanta fans for their genuine enthusiasm and respect.
“Last pitch from EVERY perfect game” “There’s not forage from every perfect game so that’s why I don’t have footage of every perfect game” So why did you call it “footage from every perfect game” I swear social media has just made lying totally normal .
Larsen holding Yogi is iconic. I was actively pulling for The Big Unit complete The game against my Braves. And Ron Hassey is The only guy on this list twice when he caught Len Barker in 81 and ten years layer was behind The plate for Denny martinez game.
I understand how "Hits" work for statitics in baseball but to be a true no hitter i think it should be no bats touching the ball. This was just seems cheap.
At one point they were happening every two to three years. And now hasn’t been one since 2012. Damn the odds for betting on one happening must be huge!!
