Hate to break it to everyone in the comment section, but yall think this is some magic horn that you toot!! This call fully functions as seen in the video. You just gotta play around with it and figure it out, blow the air from your diaphragm instead of your mouth.
If you change something maybe not the way you get it. No matter how I blow Mine it’s a terrible duck. I take the wood off and can make the rt sounds. The read must need adjustment
Deer & elk hunter: I have a quick setup camo netting ground blind that works well for me. I use the leaf camo netting, as shown above, to quickly put up a ground blind. I also carry along a comfortable folding swivel hunting blind chair. When the wind blows through my leafy camo netting, it sounds like leaves in the wind. With this setup, I can quickly set up and take down my hide for changing areas. Stealth is the word to describe using camo netting! Be sure to set up amongst trees and brush to help break up your outline. You want to blend in with what is already there. Standing alone, your hide begs, "Look at me." See the bush, become the bush!
I just bought one too. Duck call. Take the wood off use it like an elk call and it works ok. You can leave it the way it is. However it takes as much air as you can blow and blow hard at a steady rate. This works just fine but takes some serious air. To use it easily take off the wood .
How many bleach should I do in a row? Should I do one bleat and then wait a half hour or maybe an hour or two can you please give us some details? I have only been hunting for a handful of years and I have never been successful were there any deer calls or rattling. I have killed several days and have only ever had one Buck come in that was not even close enough for me to take a shot at. Can anyone lead me to a good very detailed video for me please?
That’s a tending grunt , a contact grunt would be a longer grunt. Could be called a trailing grunt too I’m not sure if the difference between the trailing and tending. While trailing a doe they usually do the shorter grunts. To add some realism to it , you can start your 5-8 grunt sequence downwind and finish it while facing into the wind. That should help draw in deer that are upwind and not downwind and it makes it sound like the deer is moving , or trailing a doe. Wanna spice it up another notch ? Break some twigs, rustle some leaves and make it sound even more real
LET ME SAVE A DIY GUY SOME TIME... Get all your supplies in one place, and you can do this in a couple of hours: Need to have hot glue gun, bone shears (to cut out the tailbone) bondo quick dry, better, replacement screws, plastic wrap, than in the kit (one head broke off), a vice in case you need to bend the back plate to fit the depth of the base of the feather, a wire brush, a bourbon on the side. Nuances below KEY NUANCES... 1. The scalpel sized knife, or super small, 3" razor fillet knife is a must, when trimming back the meat that you will eventually finish with the wire brush 2. Cutting out the tailbone is critical 3. I never found the oil gland, but wire brushed everything out so I got it out 3. The smallest fan layer, toward the front, is a bugger -- Go slow and keep it together. 4. Make sure there is no "bow" - my fan was in the fridge, after vacuum sealing it where I was hunting out of state to protect it in my luggage -- You want it flat as you can get it. 5. Take the shit screws, from the kit, to a hardware store and replace them with good ones. 6. Bondo comes in regular and fast drying -- get the fast drying, and the feathers will be locked in about two minutes -- make sure and have some books to hold it. 7. Don't go too thin with the bondo -- you really need a great substrate to run the final screw into. 8. The wire brush is a must. Don't start the first part without one on the workbench. 9. The kit is pretty forgiving -- if you have a good bondo base, and a glue gun, the critical set up points, or moments of truth lock into place quickly. Hope this helps to learn from my mistakes.
WHY no one watches this is beyond me. so many people just rip it out and get poop on the food. just follow the instructions on the back for goodness sake.
Just got mine and it sounds worse than a bad broken goose call. Why aren’t they somewhat tuned before packaging? This is horrible right now. Going to take apart a make some adjustments and hope for the best.
does anyone or can anyone send me the file to reload my caller with all of the sounds? it lost the file and my old computer to which I saved the file to is long gone. I contacted them and all they wanted to do was sell me a new caller at a discount.
Just bought this vest and shot a tom yesterday in it. It has a comfortable cusion seat, has lots of pocket space, orange safety flag, two water bottle holders, holds 10 shotgun shells, a box call pouch and two slate calls pouches are included. My only con on this vest is the buttons on the Molly pouches come undone too easily. I had to rebutton my pouches several times through the day. I'm going to put some super glue in the female end of my buttons then fasten them together so they stay put. Other than that I give this vest a 4 out of 5. Great review Allie, thanks.
