I'm playing a wolf in an upcoming production of this show, so I wanted to see what kind of cool choreography I'd have to look forward to. So excited to fight the Beast! I'm a small enough guy where I'm hoping the Beast can potentially throw me or I can climb on his back. We'll see.
Say, would it be more better if somebody mixed some choreography of "March of the Witch Hunters" from "Wicked" and "One Day More" from "Les Misérables" for an even more better version of "The Mob Song"?
Nice costumes! When my college's theater company put on this show, we instead had four wolf puppets (that I made!) operated by four of the girls in the ensemble wearing black puppeteer cloaks.

it's the musical form, my school is doing it too and I'm a wolf so I'm researching. This is the common form for musicals, to insert dances or dance-like moves into otherwise regular scenes.
I just got the Sour Kangaroo and even though the show is in February and the first rehearsal (read-through) is Monday and just can't wait for the curtain call!
Dear Unidentified Actors, I don't know who you are or where this was performed, but that is by far one of the BEST versions I have EVER seen!!! In the Broadway version, Belle sees about 3 wolf puppets howling, and they just kind of lean against the Beast a little, but in this version, these guys mean business! They actually manage to take down Belle and start dragging her across the stage, then she sort of ducks behind the Beast as he steps up as if taking her place as their victim, and what follows is a very well choreographed stage fight. The Beast isn't pulling puppets off his shoulders; he's throwing punches. It doesn't look like he's brushing wolves aside; it looks like he's fighting for Belle's life as if his own depended on it. The wolves, who actually have the dramatic effect of glowing eyes, really do go specifically for his arm (important to the fight because that's where his wound is when Belle tends to him in the next scene). By the end of the fight, a couple wolves are actually limping away, and the Beast really can't stand on his own; Belle's fully supporting him instead of like some versions I've seen where the Beast can walk just fine on his own and looks like he's just leaning against her for something to do. This is (in my opinion) supposed to be one of the most dramatic scenes in the show, and you talented actors made sure it was! I hope you or one of your friends will someday watch this video again and see this comment so someone will be able to tell you that YOU PEOPLE ARE AWESOME!!!! Sincerely, Jealous I Didn't Get To See This In Real Life
you guys should see the rehearsal video I made for my cast (sorry, the theatre has a strict policy of posting actual performances on RU-vid without permission), but if you know the words you know it wasn't easy, yet performed beautifully by the cast! And they didn't sound winded while singing.... Though this is better than anything else I saw online so far...congrats on a good show!
It amazing how many months has you guys practiced it looks so perfect, your school is better than my school performance ! Most amazing seussical video and show I ever saw
