Mahler is actually one of my favorite composers. I listed pieces by fame; I do tend to think Mahler's works are not as well-known among the public as they are among classical music lovers. His allegretto from symphony 5 is relatively famous, so perhaps this is a miss by me, but I don't really know how to compare its fame with other pieces on the list. I didn't know this piece before I've started getting deep into classical music.

What’s the song with fast strings that repeats one note for a while then alternates between that note and a higher note and repeats that pattern then descends? It’s like the most famous beginning of a song ever and yet I can’t find it. I’m sure I’ll find it in a random video essay in two weeks 😂

Hungarian Dance No.5 Still amazes me to this day, along with several other pieces here. It made me want a violin, and was the inspiration to my piano playing.
