I found one they are asking 900 but I think 600$ cash probably would take it. Are they good little tractors ? This does not have a mower deck on it but looked at getting it for yard work
I made a custom manifold for the same turbo on my 8n just could never get it running right so it's just hanging in my garage, needs to be decked a little bit etc but carb fits in stock location for governor
It’s just fine lol and I bet it gets worked harder then most and hasn’t skipped a beat. it isn’t a show tractor that sits in the garage and goes to parades lol and to top it off it’s fun
So I have a rebuilt 9n and I was wanting to turbo it but I was told it would blow the head gasket and is yours oil cooled what psi is your turbo (I’m a little late but hope for a response)
I’m keeping it around 5psi anymore then that it doesn’t have enough fuel, I really didn’t think it would work but I wanted to try it , so far it has been working great . The tractor gets worked pretty hard a couple times a week no issues so far , knock on wood
Please finish this project completely and maybe get some dyno numbers🤭😳😳😳😳 I have a ford 640 I really want to do this too. Most online condemn it but you seem to be having success. Can you tell any power increase?
I still have some kinks to work out but it’s been great, I’ve been using it hard the last couple weeks you can definitely tell a difference. I will make another video soon
The first time I did it , it lasted all summer then it seemed like the first cold day it quit working again. Since then everytime it has gotten shorter. Honestly now I pulled the dash cover off and wack the radio with a wrench as crazy as it sounds and it works for months or a couple weeks but it’s been then tearing it all apart haha
I’m looking at kubota swapping my lawn mower and I was wondering how the engine was set up I know some are put backwards. And if I could could I get a picture of the little motor that makes it lope thanks sweet tractor
Thanks ! I will make another video of the motor for you, the starter went out on the tractor so it has just been sitting for the last couple months I should be able to get it back together soon

love mine got it for 200 had to replace boards running along the sides next to the top. used to store it closed during winter. Not anymore had the seem give few years back. J. B. Weld over the middle roof seem solved the issue.
I know this an old video but I am trying this right now but am not sure how to disconnect the ribbon from the motherboard. I don't want to break that connection. If you could explain how you disconnected it that is the only thing holding me up from baking this radio. Thanks in advance
I just saw this! Are familiar with the bracket, pulley, etc that is below your air filter? Those are for a Dearborn 14-4 mid belly moumt sickle bar. Set them aside to have room ror the turbo hardware, lol. Also some parts below the clutch. I've daydreamed about doing this. But for me a Sherman step down low range would be useful. Have fun! I should say if you are new to these, they will do a wheelie and the front flip over and kill you.
When I bought it the guy told me about the sickle bar mount it’s pretty neat and all in really good shape. In the process of remaking the turbo setup at the moment, I just threw this setup together to see if it would actually work . It’s been a lot of fun runs surprisingly well and sounds even better . Thanks for watching!
It sure isn’t, but you just watched a video of a China version with a little tweaking running just fine on low boost lol. I never thought it would but it does really well actually
I have the same tractor and put a turbo on it from ebay and a boost guage. The turbo is also the smallest turbo they make. I dont know why mine does not whistle as nice as yours. Also I have the boost gauge ran just like yours and all it does is bounce back and forth really cant get a reading.
My boost gauge does the same thing unless it’s under a load driving around, and my turbo was really quiet when I first put it on . I plowed snow for a couple weeks with it then it really started to free up and whistle
What issues are you having? Only issue I’ve had with mine was the thermostat, another thing is when you shut propane off or change bottles it takes forever for the gas to get to the furnace to light the pilot so I run the stove for awhile to get the lines full.
@@onemorecastoutdoors Thanks so much for your reply! That could very well be it! I will definitely try leaving the stove on for a bit to get the lines going. The main issue is that the furnace doesn't seem to be reacting to the thermostat, so it doesn't make any noises or kick on when we change the thermostat. We thought it might be an electrical issue? Like the thermostat connection somehow got disconnected to the furnace? Not sure, any help is appreciated!
So I have replaced my stock radio and still had the same issue with the new replacement we tried everything well we thought till we came across your video my son and I had major discussions about this week mom won and we baked the radio we should have taken the cd cover off 1st as it melted but my son had to eat his word it truly worked! Thank you for sharing!!
