Hello again,, so nice to see You return in our ABBA Journey I'm so happy to see You with a new reaction to ABBA songs and specialy these that is one of My favourites "My love My life" (1976) in my opinion is the best ABBA ballad although the lyrics are sad, farewell, heartbroken It is a beautiful melody in an almost symphonic tone, like no other ABBA song (until "Ode to Freedom" in their comeback album "Voyage" from 2021) and Agnetha's voice rises to superlative levels very well accompanied with Frida in the choirs but She takes all the leadership and finishes with a powerful record in my opinion it is one of Her best vocal interpretations: S.O.S. I've been waiting for you My love My life Thank you for the music The winner takes it all Slipping through my fingers and now in the Voyage comeback album I added: Don't shut me down to complete "the Seven Wonders of Agnetha in ABBA" and is in My Top20 of all ABBA songs and Her ex husband, the guitarist Björn, said that in this song could see the power registrer of Agnetha voice The video is from a TV Special at Polland in 1976, when ABBA go there to premier the new album "Arrival' ... it's the second song on the TV show previously ABBA descended from some very high stairs singing "Dancing Queen" that's why the applause is heard and Agnetha puts a hand to her ear to try to listen to the next track I think this performance has the strangeness of seeing Björn standing up, without playing his guitar (except for the songs in which he sings). Lara's microphone sound was at maximum (it resonated..) and Johnny's was lower.. It was Johnny who asked for it to be done like that. Lara was his guest at the Stade de France and he wanted her to demonstrate her vocal power and shine. Lara herself confirmed it. Johnny in all his generosity... Know that Johnny was a vocal power too but on this last interpretation he did not want because it was done on purpose, Johnny was very intelligent in doing that to make the song more dramatic and show their acting on this magnificent song that belongs to him. The desired goal was the dramatic side of the singing all in power but less than Lara (Johnny) with at the same time next to him a more striking singing power (Lara) and the passionate play between the two. Everything was imagined by Johnny himself to end the last interpretation in style. A masterpiece, perhaps the most beautiful duet in the world.🎉💫💥
