So your friend he's very good at what he does. I need made a great point after you dropped it could make the alignment out but marking it is the best idea I have seen .also great job making this video.
Audi is so wrong for putting the starter behind the motor mount. I’m sorry you had to go through all that for a job that should be super easy. Good work my man! 👏🏼💥💯🔥👍
i know this video is a year old, but anyone happen to know about the subframe bolts? Recently performed same job on my 335xi, and was told that they are 1 time use bolts. I've noticed some popping sounds after putting the subframe back the same same way. So just curious that if I do replace the subframe bolts will that actually make a difference?
Nice video bro, I have the same year xi and actually did a video a while back. Lmk if you have any questions on some of the things we gotta do differently.
I removed both bolts from the starter, front and back, but it seems like it’s still locked tight in there. I haven’t put an engine bridge in btw. Am I missing something? Thanks for the video. This has been a lifesaver for me. My 2008 Audi A6 has matched all of the same steps so far.
Tim Mutty I did, I didn't upload it. It's really simple. Disconnect the diverter valve. Then clear the code it throws. The issues you may or may not see will be with the boost cut at mid throttle or higher after about 3 weeks of driving like this. Doing this has no direct effect on the turbo. But the pcm will try and make corrections and cause the car to stall under load and heavy throttle
