We are just staying here right now. I usually don´t write negative reviews, but here you really don´t get for what you paid for. Absolutely NO way a 5-star resort. Severely understaffed. Some things feel like it´s a backpacker hotel. You have to do your own check-in on the app. In your room, there´s complimentary coffee capsules, but only 4, for more, you have to pay 2€ each ( bring Illy coffee capsules). 1 small bottle of water on arrival. Not replenished. No spoons for your coffee or tea, instead wooden sticks like you get in a McDonald´s. Beer is cheaper than soft drinks. Food is very mediocre ( and luke warm). Maybe because they think British don´t have taste anyway? No taste to anything. Scrambled eggs made of powdered egg I guess. Shashuka with runny eggs. Bacon either not fried or like the sole of your shoe. Some food is coloured so strikingly, you don´t even want to try, like ice cream and yoghurt. Stocking up on breakfast can take a very long time. The tables are dirty and they just remove the dirty dishes and set the table new with just the clean dishes. You have to tell them to please wipe the table first. Only toast and soft bread or dry as cracker bread for breakfast. There´s like cookies at breakfast. Probably came from Aldi or Lidl or some bigbox. Nothing feels like it´s done with love. No positive vibe. 2 days ago there was alot of rain. Monday sunbeds at the pool were still wet and covered with brown dust, no one cared. Most important is trying to sell extras to the guests. They take your photos in the evening so you can buy them next morning. And people are actually buying them. There are men entering the lobby only with their bathing suits on. None of the staff said anything. You get a card for your pool towels, you have to go all the way to the spa to get them replaced. You can tell construction quality is not so good either. There´s big sliding windows in your room. They are very heavy to move. But the handles are in the corner behind a concrete post, so if you are not a a weight lifter, you really have a hard time opening or closing them. Groungs are not very clean. Plant beds a still covered with plaster and concrete. Friends had a junior suite on the bottom of the hill. smelled badly of sewer. You definitely need to take a pool suite up on the hill. More airy and nicer view. We have stayed at the Angsana in Corfu and Ikaros Malia/Crete. Those were really 5 star hotels. But of course, 5-star hotels are different in Greece if compared like in Austria or northern Italy. So overall I would say the Lindos Grand is 3-4* max. Do not book half-board. It´s really not worth the money.
so moving how their past and olden shrines are still revered. is the pool water cold? is English spoken much? I am planing to go in September. love the eels. they remind me of the 2 electric eels I had when I was in school.
Hi and thanks a million for your comment. The pool water is warm and English is widely spoken. We are for encouraging people to travel during the low seasons in order to appreciate the natural and cultural heritage. We always tend to focus on the low season experience through this lens. Maururu and have a wonderful time in Tahiti ☺️🙏🌺
Well done you guys! Such an exciting and interesting account of the island and its people! You made me feel like I want to book it NOW! It’s good to hear about the diversity of such an island instead of just the usual sea and sand descriptions! The locals sound so gentle and informative, loved it!
Bless you Sam - thank you so much for those kind words and for your encouragement. we have some wonderful videos coming in the next few months including Tahiti, Tobago and…Ireland 😀🙏
This corporation collaborate with Cuban dictatorship and with oppression of the Cuban people. With the money that the communist regime collects in its hotels in Cuba.. it pays for the repression of the Cuban people. Cubans do not see a single dollar. Only the Castrist elite is the one that benefits. Patria y Vida!
