Jesus broke the Law? No, Jesus fulfilled it. You’re calling Jesus a transgressor of the Law. You’re calling him a sinner before God. You claim that he denied purity laws in order to raise the man, placing ‘compassion’ above obedience to the Law. What does Samuel say to Saul? To obey is better than sacrifice. Jesus would not violate his own commands, you are calling him a hypocrite. Also, women are not to teach in this capacity, especially a woman like this who is clearly showing she absolutely fails to correctly handle the Bible. It truly does amaze me how people like this devote their entire lives to a ‘church’ and attempting to teach the Bible, yet mangle it up so bad that they end up committing heresy. Absolute fools. I urge you to repent and stop, you are not a sound biblical teacher.
Wait - the Bible says no women pastors!!!! Why is she up there? Clearly doesn’t know and practice what the Bible says. You’ll definitely have to answer to Jesus about that.
I think when it comes to God, learning never stops. It is a lifetime in which we discover that the more we know, the more we realize we have only just scratched the surface.
Apparently, Hebrews 13:8-9 doesn't apply to UMC. People also think God's love comes with no conditions but it does. “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.” “If you keep not my commandments, the love of the Father shall not continue with you.” “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
You say you are anchored in scripture, as you just voted to ignore parts of Gods Word. You arent interested in scripture at all. You are interested in peoples feelings and allowing them to live as they please instead of what Gods Word says. You basically just told God his definition of marriage isnt right. Good luck with that.
Methodism's founder, John Wesley, wrote extensively on what Methodism is about. One of his view I recall is, "Think and let think." They are doing that.
