This is really cool, but as a 10-pin bowler, not a candlepin bowler, why are they checking their slide every time? Is it due to having to have that long slide, and any "hiccup" would ruin a shot?
Sublime. Oh god by far the greatest bowling channel I have ever had the pleasure to witness. Excellent job, y’all deserve a silver play button or something for these masterpieces! 🎳🎳🎳🎳
Wanted to make a correction re: Putnam Street KotH. The tournament directors will call lobs from the back. You get a warning the first time you get caught, then pins are deducted
I wish NESN would pick this up. Not that I get NESN being in NC, but it would be ideal for that market and would grow the game. If you guys haven't already, you should send this series to them.
Unfortunately we just don't have the man hours to dedicate to taping them especially with the number of roll offs. May try and get one or two shifts though!
Love that I can watch some great candlepin bowling, but can the announcers please watch a video or 2 about scoring in candlepin bowling? I mean, it's frustrating when the scoring is wrong as many times as it is. And this isn't even the halfway point of the second string.
It's so great to see the skins format come back. When do you guys film these episodes. I'd love to maybe be in the gallery to watch. I watched the channel 5 and channel 51 shows when I was young and am watching them again now on youtube. I see the crowds in those shows and want to be in the crowd now.

That's awesome to hear! We're definitely excited to create more episodes - as Jordan said the next filming will be January 13th at Leda Lanes in Nashua - hope to see you there and we absolutely appreciate the support :)
@@richmartin1427 awww man - yeah I’ve bowled Tenpin for a long span in my life as well. I enjoy it, but something about candlepin is just so much more fun for me. C’mon up to the Northeast for a trip - tons of candlepinners are always looking to initiate newbies in the area on vacation! :)
@@IamAkkim I actually am a native Bostonian so I grew up on candlepins and watching Don Gillis every Saturday morning host the channel 5 show. Was up there in February and I rolled a few games at Central Park Lanes while I was there. Considering it had been a while, I was glad I broke 100 in a couple of strings.
