The Calgary Girls Choir strives to increase the skill and knowledge of its women while instilling in them a passion for music. The Choir reflects diversity in its music, music that is world-class and constantly evaluated - “only the best is good enough”.
The Calgary Girls Choir (CGC) was founded in 1995 by Elaine Quilichini and has flourished and grown under her direction and inspiration. The CGC has since experienced tremendous growth and earned a stellar reputation in the choral community gaining worldwide recognition and acclaim for its inspiring performances and many accomplishments.
The CGC is a collection of five choral ensembles made up of Prima, Bella, Dolce, Viva and Brava. Each is offered exceptional choral music education and performance opportunities for girls and young women ages four to twenty-four years.
The Choir’s exceptional reputation and excellence has welcomed over 300 choristers annually.

Sitting here tearing up with a smile on my face. Two of my three beautiful daughters were in this choir and are in this video. I have many wonderful memories sitting in the audience during these performances, including this one. (They're 26 and 23 now...how did that happen??)
My choir teacher is retiring and we are going to surprise him with this song at his last concert and the principal emailed us the lyrics and to memorize it and this helped alot
This was marvelous! I listened to it for the first time few months ago and it was College Cambridge version, I cried just by hearing that freaking organ and the choir was powerful. This was also well done! Good job, may Jesus be with you all😁
