This goes to show you how inept and incompetent this team’s brass is. When they had a chance to make a move for Adams, the quote was “we like our receiver room”. Now here we are picking up something off the trash pile like he’s going to make a big difference. I’m starting to believe Payton left the Saints because he seen the cap situation and said f**k this, I’m out. This team never has money to spend on premiere players. They didn’t even make an attempt at Adams because they didn’t have the money to pay him. They didn’t draft enough offensive lineman or even target anyone in the off season. It’s time for this regime to go. The injuries are no excuse. There’s still no capable backups in the key positions. The offense can’t get going because the line is atrocious. The defense has regressed big time because it looks like they quit.
Mickey Loomis is great. I think Mickey has absolutely over achieved in every aspect of being a great GM. He knows what he’s doing. DA and DC are the best we can get. We BLEW OUT our opponents in the beginning of the season. The entire team being injured isn’t anyone’s faults but the players. I played 2 seasons of baseball with a fractured spine. Some players with less serious injuries need to man up and play and others need to take care of their bodies better in their off time, look at cam Jordan who spends over $100,000 a year taking care of his body, 14 years and very seldom injured, only missed two games entire career.
HAS DENNIS ALLEN BEEN FIRED YET??? WHY DOES HE STILL HAVE A HC JOB??? HE’S A RAGING FLAMING BAG OF DOGSHIT AND DUMPSTER FIRE ALL ROLLED INTO ONE!!! 💩🔥 # FIREDENNISALLEN
DA is a good defensive coordinator, but he's over his head as a head coach. If I were the Saints owner, I'd demote him back to DC and hire Jon Grueden as the head coach. Then I'd have a long talk with |Mickey Lomis about the salary cap hell he'd gotten the team into. That has them in the most trouble by far.
Matt, listen for all of the good that you’re trying to say it’s not gonna work. They can’t have a winning culture as long as they don’t have leadership as long as they don’t have accountability and that’s what they’re lacking with Dennis Allen as the head coach of this team he needs to be fired.
Even though I agree the Saints sign a lot of veterans. The receiving core we have is young and having that veteran guy especially with championship experience is great and can teach them things. Not a terrible signing and at least added depth. But after this year I hope the Saints start to deplete some of their vets like Cam Jordan, DC, and maybe Tyrann.
I do believe in scantling, he is good in Madden, but who's gonna throw to him I hope rattler, but that don't solve a lot. Carr and shaheed is unmatchable. Saints r a bit slow on trade moves. It shoulda been in play, how they will upgrade w no cap, idk. But u can't put all the weight on scantling
What’s crazy is that most of the people they drafted never worked out… That’s a big problem and one of the reasons they are in the position they’re in now
Why is nobody but the Rams talking about Saleh? Comment after comment I read about firing Allen but nobody mentions a good replacement for him that's available now? I do like Flores (but he isn't leaving until possibly the off-season) I would hire Saleh right now as HC or a DC...Any thoughts Mr. Moscona?
In terms of the defensive woes DT is our biggest problem. They are terrible against the run and don't generate much pressure in the middle. The DE pressure is fine, they just can't seem to get the sacks that they should be.
