Sir I am facing the problem in my java fern. The anubias are growing well in the same tank, but the Java shows black spot, niddle hole in leafs and then turning brown.. What can I do now ?? Please help
I’ve got 2 one about the size of Indie and one half the size. Both in a 190 corner tank. They have the odd scuffle but in general tend to swim together and tolerate each other.. Am I just lucky 🤣
Sir I have a 10g with 3guppies and a honey gourami and i recently moved a few things in the tank and I haven’t seen the shrimp ever since I bought em will they breed or Come out ? (I bought them 3 weeks ago 11 of em)
I'll be doing this tomorrow, had put in sand in a tank for an axolotl, them found out my axolotl is actually a tiger salamander larvae, wasn't sure on what to do, this will help
Hey Double P , I do love seeing a great fish and shrimp room . The only times I wish I could have another is whenever I see just how creative so many people are!!! I have a lot of great memories from the past fish rooms and I never got into breeding until I got a Mystery snail ,so the very 1st time bringing a bag of 30+ and even though I didn't do it for the money or really anything. I placed the eggs on a diy floating nest I made using some pieces of a pool noodle (Snail Pontoon) and a media bag I stretched out w/ a opening right in the center that was the only way off, oh and a couple of chop sticks to make a shade sail with a Outback Steakhouse black napkin 😮 I can't say anything other than I love Outbacks Wings and the $120 from 30 dime sized snails🤗 That's what got me into breeding 4 years ago and I still doing the Corys and Rainbows the odays !!!!
Your shrimp are gorgeous! Can I keep some shrimp in a tank with a betta and a few community fish? Also, want to set up the tank with the “natural “ ecosystem with no pump and filter. What are your thoughts? Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks so much in advance.😊🙏
Shrimp do well in no filter tanks, just want to make sure you have enough plants for biofiltration. Some bettas are known shrimp killers, each fish is different. I would see what happens!
@@PoseidonsPets is there a rule of thumb of how many gallons per how many shrimp and community fish, etc.? thanks in advance. Also question… We are in Florida zone 10 A, I’ve seen some people put a container pond outside with Betta and some fish, etc. etc… would that be good with shrimp as well in the Florida heat in the summer and a bit cooler outside in the winter thanks again and all advice!😍
@@plant-a-holic shrimp will typically manage their own population. The larger the volume the more you can have, for filter less tanks larger volumes are easier to manage. Bettas may not do well in the winter, they’re not fans of the cold
I know this been 4 years ago. So what's the update. Are they become friends. I am the same situation right thinking of putting separation. But I want them to be friend. Did you remove the separator in time?
Once they got close in size I was able to remove the divider. Indy has recently passed but we have a new juvie growing out with rip and they have been good together no issues
thank you so much, god bless you, I've just bought my first java Fern, luckily it was not tied, bought it from an individual,online not a store, any plant aquarium or terrestrial will die if roots are chocked out, you have helped so many with this video, the black thread looks like roots no one wouldve known, lots of plant pets java ferns would have died, and broken owners hearts, I know I'm counting on my beauty to thrive, thanks again
Just got into the hobby, just received my java fern, and wow, i didn't even notice that black string at first! I thought it was a whole root ball! Gently snipped and took it apart, 7 full plants! Thank you 👍
How much do you make with moss? Because I see that your main income out of all these is the shrimp. I have all kinds of beautiful moss on my property in Florida, but is it worth the time vs profit? I mean I love it, for fountains, decorations terrariums...but I need to have a worthy income with it if my time is gonna be invested in it. Thank you
