It's bike riders like this that make people roll their eyes when folks preach watching out for them. I watch out for all types of vehicles on the road, but you're significantly increasing risk to yourself as a bike rider with maneuvers like this. "These privileged kids don't wanna work!" sigh I've been looking for work for over a year- still nothing- not even entry level clerical/secretarial work. It's beyond abysmal. I'm a native English speaker with a large vocabulary and above average intelligence. My resume and cover letters have been done by me, professionally, and by AI. I've tried showing no experience, minimal experience, some experience, and my full work history- nothing seems to land me a job. Seeing people actively looking for a job piled around street corners is indicative of the dystopian wasteland Canada has become- AI automation has been eating jobs without creating them, so we're seeing a spike of overqualified workers being displaced into fields that they just shouldn't be in. You can go compare how many graduated nursing students are actually in nursing positions in Canada for example; I believe most of them are actually working jobs like retail. Things need to change before there's a violent revolution- history dictates that this is the build-up. Rob people of all they own, steal opportunity, let the wealthiest individuals avoid taxes while living lavishly, and then subject everyone to the disparity in wealth. I'm honestly on the verge of flying "Sic Semper Tyrannis" flags myself. “The fact is that the greatest crimes are caused by a desire for excess and not by a desire for necessity. @@DriveLapseCA You too, but I sooner hope for an entire restructure of this broken system. Even the jobs that exist don't pay enough to make ends meet. Go and look for "Whole of government 5 year trends for Canada" a (at the time) secret RCMP report detailing how most Canadians under 35 will never buy a home- this is obviously upsetting, but even more so to someone like me in their early 20's. The solutions are so obvious, but money is power and power decides- if there was a redistribution of wealth like financial caps or even a universal basic income, things like this wouldn't be as big of an issue as they are today. Regardless of what outcome we face, I wish you success. Hopefully we can find a way that's not guillotine justice.
@@DriveLapseCA Watching this back after searching for "Unemployment in Canada" take note of how many people are on their phones... Dystopian, the lot of it. It's something I guess we're all kind of numb to now, but there used to be actual community even amongst strangers- it's clearly a dead ideology. Everyone looks uncomfortable and stressed. It's just sad, I guess. I didn't take notice the first time, but it's like what- 9:1 on their phones at least? More? Maybe people need to do what you're doing- granted you were also technically looking at a screen- but you were actually taking in your environment for what it is. I think a big problem with how information is relayed now is that we've learned to trust unreliable pixels opposed to our eyes. Anyone who picked their heads up from those devices could see it's clearly WAY more than 6.1%
It's a lie that' had been fed to people for decades. Same with the lie about Fertility rates being down. low sperm levels...blah blah. People can't afford to have kids. The government will fund the third world to come have them though. People seem to forget that Jason Kenney was the Immigration minister who first opened the TFW floodgates. Libs hit the gas. people get upset. Cons come along and pump the brakes a teeny bit to get people to quiet down.. End destination is the same. Over a cliff You are being replaced. End of story.
