Welcome to Plane Stuff! This channel features aviation content such as takeoff and flight reviews, landing videos, and plane spotting primarily from North America and Europe. Despite a current lack of film... or editing... or anything video related experience, I hope you enjoy!
A hint (or more) to my next project can always be found in the channel banner!
I use My.Flightradar to track my flights, you are welcome to check it out below!
Great review! You’re spot on the “soft” product that Aeromexico has. Although, I understand “English” is not the “primary”, I’ve noticed that the Aeromexico flight attendants have ZERO English skills. Lastly, Mexico City airport is the WORST airport ever designed.
Yeah I can't say I was a fan of the airport, it was very difficult to find anything to eat even early into the night. The architecture certainly is interesting, but the lack of real usable windows is a little weird.
Thanks for joining me on my way to Santo Domingo aboard an Aeromexico B787-9! If you have any comments or criticisms please do let me know in the comments below!
Always found this jet interesting as it shares the same design style as the C5 and C17. I don’t understand why it wasn’t more successful. It seems like it would have even made a very nice option for a personal private jet.
I am a fan of PHX airport as well. I mostly fly American and until last year, DFW was the best option but lately their flights are either too close together or have bad (for me) flight times, so I got to take a PHX trip for the first time recently and I got to say, I am a fan. The layout of the terminals are pretty good, they have interesting shops and I enjoy riding down the long moving floors. I had a several hour layover there and got to wander down all of the 7 concourses of Terminal A & B and got my steps in for the day. I really enjoyed the views of the runway and the mountains. Just found your videos recently and am a fan, keep up the great work!
Thanks for watching! This certainly can't compare to my last video with how short the flight is and the less interesting subject, but I figured I could still try and make something out of it, I hope I was right! If you have any comments or criticisms please do let me know in the comments below!
@@PlaneStuffnThings not a criticism at all but I do enjoy shots of some of the shops you go by between flights if you ever wanted to add in some minor b roll of them I think it would look good.
This was a very interesting and cool video to watch! Thank you for sharing it here! I hope I will get the opportunity to fly on one of these types of aircraft one day! It looked very comfortable to fly on!
Wow, I'm a retired airline pilot. I love the 328, sad that it wasn't liked. The snacks were AMAZING! I think the FA is correct. I teach pilots to fly biz jets now. We go into Telluride often in the simulator because I have many owners that have houses there. Safe travels
Interesting video. I'm from Denver and used to fly to Detroit every week on a United contract commuter airline. Planes were usually ERJ-145's and CRJ-100/200 - very uncomfortable little planes. It looks like they've upgraded the DIA commuter terminals. I always wanted to fly on the BAe 146, but never had the opportunity.
The BAE 146 will always be my favourite plane. Every 2 weeks I would fly on one and while it was a little older, it was always a super comfortable flight. Big comfy seat, and plenty of leg room. But sadly, they are becoming less and less here in Australia.
SeatGuru still doesn't have Delta's A321neos on their website, I probably would've booked that on accident too. Solid video though! The effort and quality felt like a larger channel's! I have an upcoming flight on this same route and type lmao
Thank you! I used to use SeatGuru, it feels like they have really stopped trying to keep things up to date, but I haven't had any problems with SeatMaps yet!
BA still fly the dornier 328 jet out of manchester and cambridge(UK) to billund Cityjet used to fly the dornier 328 prop plane from my home town of dundee to london city.. That airline is now defunct and we have our scottish airline, loganair, using ATR 42-500 and ATR 72-600.. The saab 340 has since been retired from the fleet Great video BTW ❤
I live in Denver. I agree, Denver is one of the best airports to connect thru....but flying out from Denver and going thru security is NO FUN. the lines are long and terrible. Apparently there have been some improvements, mind you I havent flown in roughly a year, but still I feel Denver is much better to connect thru.
Interesting they do a no flaps takeoff, even out of Telluride. I’ve flown on both 328 variants but not behind the wing. They’re nice birds, and I always loved their uniqueness.
Looks like they have at least one notch of flaps in for both takeoffs. You can see how that flap track fairings are hinged open compared to the clean wing.
Awesome Review! Thanks for sharing. I remember when the Fairchild-Dornier had propellers on them. U.S. Airways Express had several based out of Pittsburgh.
Cool report! I tried to fly this route last May but TEX was snowed out so we connected through MTJ instead. Awesome you got to experience the approach into TEX.
Right, Leadville is the highest elevation public airport, but it doesn't have any commercial service, which leaves Telluride as the highest elevation commercial airport.
This was a great watch, well done! I like your commentary. Was positive and you were unfazed by anything. Would be great to see the mountains. I learned something. Didn't know TEX was so high up and has a runway on a cliff! I looked up 328JET too. What a neat machine that sadly didn't sell well.
Well that was quite the flight! If you have any comments or criticisms please do let me know in the comments below, as I'm learning everything involved with making these videos from scratch!
