This was so freaking beautiful, Bob's burgers , especially Loren Bouchard just does every thing so magnificently and subtle, these are the gems that makes Bob's burgers more than just an animated sitcom.
Jim Henson the guy, Benton mentioned as his hero for the essay was the creator of Kermit. I think it’s super cute his hero was also a puppeteer lol, arguably the best.
Gene’s songs are always so good when they really come from his feelings. I did like the saturday day one tbh haha But like in the moments where he spontaneously comes up with something in moments when hes sad or contemplating, he really does come up with good music. Its very good! And as an artist its kinda comforting and just sweet. I dont normally like Gene but I can appreciate him from an artist perspective. And its nice to see Bob bond with him over their love of being creative even when very different avenues.
Right!?🤣 I know it wasn't like that in the episode if you we're to watch it on hulu. It must be RU-vid, I know I'm not going crazy!🤣 I'm gonna rewatch this episode when my dad gets hulu again, and edit this comment later on, and let everyone know if this is Mickey's original voice or not!🤣🤣 My dad's getting Hulu tomorrow, so I'm gonna update this comment pretty soon!🤣
So much. I think BB does stuff like this better than any other show. The bittersweet and touching, the truly character-driven moments that can only come about through top shelf character development. My two favorites on the show have the two best episodes, I think; this, and the Rudy the Magician episode. Oh that's some good pain...
Holy shit... This show let's me know that I'm not a sociopath. And, I agree with the other person, the Rudy Goes to Dinner episode had some sweet sweet pathos, too.
@@DanHarkins-jk9miyes, I absolutely agree with you. Also, the episode when all 3 kids have recitals and everyone almost missed Louise’s beautiful poem about her family 🥹
