Because he earns. Whereas my mother is the one who raised us and do every house hold chores. Yet, her opinions never matter. It should never be in relationships that who's the boss. With my current American husband, he earns and I cooks. Yet both of us are submissive to one and another. None of us term ourselves as bosses.
