Only works if you have a good partner who loves and supports you. Most cases, thats not the case be it arranged or otherwise. My sincere advice to the next gen, have a simple wedding, dont have kids for the first two years, if it is not working dont try and fix it by yourself if your SO is not willing to put in the work. Then leave if it doesnt work out. Do not think what society will say. Do not think what your parents will say. Do not think that a child will fix your marriage, it wont. Do not think you will be able to change a person or that they will change with time, he/she won't. Doing this will save you a lifetime of misery.
Background info, DPS doesnt take you to US for free. Its not included in your fees. They charge an extra 1lakh-2lakh for the trip. Usually 10-15 students per batch goes. US Customs will never give student visa to the entire batch.
Another point. The marriage laws favour females more. If the marriage reach the point of divorce. Man will be treated as a criminal nothing less. God bless if she is independent and doesn't hate. If she do, right or wrong doesn't matter. She can make your living hell. I am not even kidding just read courts verdicts. Again male are nothing but a criminal in court if divorce happens.
As a person who studies in DPS and can't afford these expensive trips(which every super rich kid in our class who doesn't have to give any competition exam has father's business buys) I can confirm I feel jealous of them but i still feel grateful about my life
I get the man's point, and it isn't just about the money, its the responsibilities that come with it, specially after the kids, and a brilliant comeback for his reasoning.
