Our Manitoba Heroes is a celebration of Manitobans who do extraordinary things every day.

Our Heroes are individuals who have set out to raise money for a cause they felt needed it - and they needed to do it. A boy raising money for meals at a homeless shelter. A girl collecting backpacks and filling them with everyday essentials for the homeless. A motorcycle ride in honour of Dad who had prostate cancer. A mom collecting donations for baby formula, for Winnipeg Harvest.

Our Heroes have provided comfort and companionship. Helping people with cancer, making sure they are not alone. Offering beds in a home to the dying and supporting the surviving family in the final days. Making familiar meals and serving them on the street to those who need them most.

Our Heroes have created organizations to meet needs in the community. A rescue shelter for surrendered pets, for abused and unwanted animals, serving more than just Winnipeg. A neighbourhood centre helping kids with their math homewor
