Thanks for the great video! I just happened upon your channel and this is just what I was looking for. Great reviews of the foods and overview and tips to HHN. Keep up the great work
Thank you so much for watching and for the supportive comment!! They mean the world to us and keep us encouraged. :-). If you head to HHN let us know what you get to eat - or what your favorite thing was.. always love hearing what others think. Happy Halloween!!
So good! We both have a list of crave-worthy dishes from Jaleo... I cant help but want to pop in for a spot at the bar for a drink and to scratch some of those cravings!!!
Be sure to check out the Pirate band that is playing over across from Pirates of The Caribbean... they were really fantastic... and I believe I recognized a few Reindeer Wranglers in the mix. :-) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TYkngDeaykU.html
Great video! I’ve heard so much great things about this place. I will definitely check this place out the next time on vacation. Keep the great videos coming!
Thanks so much @robertlarson3238! It is amazing. We have gone and had just a few tapas and a drink making it super easy to add it to your vacation must-do list. Let us know if you go and for sure, what you get! ❤
It really is! We are curious to get back over there now that it has been open for a bit... hoping they are able to maintain that level of service, food and sourcing... it was above and beyond!
We were talking about possibly skipping Yak & Yeti next trip and doing it the following trip to make room for something else. After a certain someone in my family watched this video, I don't think that is going to happen. If they still have those scallops we are going to have to head back there.
It makes sense to have rotate your choices on vacation with SO many choices. I feel like Yak & Yeti - being a Landry’s restaurant suffers from low expectations and a sense of it not feeling unique to the parks - when actually it is the surprise hit and a secret foodie win. The theming, service and food always hit high for us, but Animal Kingdom is challenging with sooooo many amazing options. It feels wrong to say, but we would place the food specifically above some recent dishes in Disney’s Signature Dining restaurants. Oh and YES - get those scallops! 😍
Scat Cats has been added to the must do list for every trip. We had a great time there :) Everything we had was A+ Edited to add that frozen Irish coffee looks like a good one!
We had such a great time visiting with you guys T Scar Cats!! I wish (for Manny) that they would improve their Sazarac but otherwise it is such a great vibe and the food is some of the best in all of Port Orleans.
We have only ever done breakfast there. Used to be one of our favorites. Still might be but haven't planned for it in some time. Buffet looks pretty good!
It was so much more fun and yummy than we could have imagined. Never expected the southern style menu and the quality to be where it was. The character interactions were really good too!
Wifey and I love WBG We were there last month. Got a bottle of Caymus and their big charcuterie board. Also a few bourbons and a couple glasses of champagne. Good times. We go every time we visit Disney
What most people don't know is...the INSPIRATION for Princess Tiana was Chef Leah Chase, who owned Dooky Chase restaurant in New Orleans. Her family now runs it with her recipe and it is a MUST go to. Be sure to check out the Disney drawing on the wall of Tiana and Leah! Leah Chase's TED Talk on youtube is wonderful as well.
YES!!! Dooky Chase has such an amazing and inspiring history. As former servers and people who grew up in the restaurant industry I think that is such a large part (among many) of why we connect with Princess Tiana. Thank you so much for commenting this, it is such an inspiring fact and important for people to know.❤️❤️
We are on a mission to try them from the "sketchy gas stations" we pass by on our travels. Thinking maybe it is like those random delicious breakfast burritos we have out in New Mexico.
I think Scat Cat's is the easiest to access (no reservations) and most delicious of the options. i wish they would open something of this style inside Magic Kingdom near the ride... Holding out for a Tiana's Palace one day. ❤️❤️❤️
We had been there shortly after it first opened when reservations were next to impossible to get. It was very solid then. We have not been back since because it seemed to have been through many changes and some rocky roads along the way. Glad you guys had a nice time there.
Yes, I agree, it really has gone through a lot of changes and had some dark days for a while there. While it is not what it was when it first opened - It is back to being a solid choice for the experience of it. For foodie folks... I would hit up one of the many other amazing restaurants that you have near by.
That is so interesting. I’m glad to hear they use fever tree. I usually find it a bit too sweet, but this was delicious. I must be mixing mine wrong. lol. Thanks for the comment! And the info 😀
Thank you so much. Yes we love that shirt. Great colors! Manny gets his Disney themed button up shirts from RSVLTS. They have a website with the same name - also you’re in luck because they just restocked that shirt so it is available again. ❤️
How exciting to be coming all the way from Spain. We’ll be curious to hear what you think of Pepe and even Jaleo. Please let us know. I’m curious if it matches up well with what you’re used to enjoying in Spain. ❤️
That is so funny, I JUST said the same thing to Manny. They were great quality too. ❤ Thanks so much for watching. Let us know if you ever go to check it out.
The Papaya Club was such a great time... interested in more from Conrad Orlando? Check out our review of Ceiba, the rooftop Signature Dining complete with fireworks, innovative food and some incredible service! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2nlzzN5Nuz4.html
Yes. I was able to purchase the flamingo glass… however they said it greatly depends on stock. I imagine as this place hits everyone’s radar they won’t be so easy to come by. ❤
Had a great meal here last trip. Trying to fit it in for the next trip but already overboard with reservations. We are hitting Boma breakfast and dinner at least. A little over a month and we will be there!
So happy to see your comment! When do you guys arrive and where are you most excited to go? We LOVE your list and use it ALL the time!!! So excited that your trip is coming up .... and SOON! We love Sanaa - the food is so good and the ambiance is just next level. Bummed our drinks were so off that night, but Im thinking we just had an off night for the bar, which happens and is OK.... we'll be back for sure.
@@EnchantedNomadsWe will be driving down, arriving May 8th. Doing Universal for a few days then moving over to Disney for 2 weeks. Beyond excited! Just to name a few (too many to list) we have Flying Fish,, Narcoossees, Homecomin and Le Cellier. The one that we are looking forward to the most is Topolinos as we have never been there. Going to be doing dinner.
Hi there! Quick question if you don’t mind answering, where were you standing for the cart rally and approx what time? I’m going to be at WDW over from the UK for Hallowspring this year and super excited to come and enjoy all the fort wilderness fun! Thank you
So cool, we will be there too, it is so much fun! So we were at the four way stop coming up from the entrance. So if you made a right hand turn at the four way stop and just stayed right around that grass area... that is where we were. As far as time, i believe we got there about 20 minutes before the scheduled time for the parade. I will say that they could possibly change the route... because this is a different route than they use at Halloween when the parade is MUCH larger.... I believe we will know once the day gets closer though. I hope this helps and that you have an AMAZING stay!!!
@@EnchantedNomads Thank you! I’ve joined a couple of fort wilderness facebook groups so I can get all the info on there, also it’s fun to see everyone’s photos of their stays!
@@CarlessSarah Absolutely! It really is a good time, usually there are little gatherings and trading type activites happening. We are really looking forward to it
@@EnchantedNomads I saw on the wilderness lodge fb group today that Disney aren’t doing anything official for it this year due to the new cabin construction, quite a lot of people were saying so prob the case.
I agree, it sits as one of our top recommendations for sure! It has been a minute since we got to go and we are craving it! The service, the ambiance and the food are all TOP NOTCH!
We are locals and love Narcoossee's, probably the best restaurant at Disney World. Victoria and Alberts and Ciceros, while also very good, don't have the same overall experience.
We just love Narcoossee's. They seem to have hit the perfect balance with the service, the food, the drinks and that beautiful location. I think it is the most romantic restaurant on property. Thank you so much for watching and sharing your thoughts. We are already itching to go back as soon as we can.
I really like your style of presentation, almost like we're dining with you. I think you will go far. We live an hour away and definitely will be checking this place out. You are the only ones on You Tube that have a video on this restaurant, thanks! PS, here in Brevard County, I would recommend that you review Urban Prime in Viera and Yellow Dog in Grant.
Wow, thank you! You actually nailed what i would love for our channel to be... like the viewer is getting to go to dinner with us. For years we lived far, far away and getting to come to these places was just not possible. I always loved watching people's videos about getting to go to great restaurants, but I always wanted to know more about the overall experience of actually being there. What is the mood and ambiance? the service? How did the whole experience feel? So your kind comment has made our day. We are trying to work closer and closer to bringing that to our channel. ❤️❤️❤️. PLUS, you are sharing some great spots for us to check out!!! THANK YOU! We are adding them to our list for sure. I am surprised more people havent gone out to Ceiba yet for reviews. It is so beautiful and the food is just lovely. We are still talking about that tuna tostada. We also recently filmed at the Papaya Club, which is downstairs, "beach" side. It was wonderful. Watch for that video comong this week. ❤️❤️
