I started " collectively mika" as a space where I can pour all my creatively that I love into one place where I can simply be myself. We live in a small non aesthetic apartment. But I do find joy in creating a perfect space and making my house a home for my daughter Sa'Riya Michelle (12) my sweet rainbow baby! Raising a preteen on my own has definitely been a journey, a wild, but fun adventure that I would love to share with you all.

You changed up a lot of curriculum this year. New apartment...new curriculum...lol! We are also using the same things from Critical Thinking company this year. I was just wondering how will you schedule it all the Critical Thinking company in? Lastly, please do a flip through about the Beowulf's History program.
Hey Mika! Her school outfits are sooo cute. We just went school supply shopping last Saturday (tax free holiday), and plan to start our homeschool year for 7th grade by the end of next month.

My son starts school on August 12th. He will be an 8th grader! Time is flying 😮! I went out today and picked up school supplies from Target also 😊 and bought sneakers today. Hey Mika! How long does the fruit stay fresh in a mason jar? You got me wanting to try this method. Lol. I feel like my grapes, blueberries, and tomatoes go bad quick in the refrigerator cabinet. The table is pretty! Once you add your decor, rug, etc… it will pop even more.
Hey girl! thanks so much! most of our fruits and veggies can last up to two weeks in the mason jars. Our grapes will last about a week. Our cherry tomatoes be lasting a long time for sure! Absolutely love using them🙂

Love this haul! I’m definitely getting the pencil shaver vacuum. Lol We will be starting “abeka academy” for my 12 yr old’s 7th grade year in late September or early October.

I needed a disclaimer that this video was previously recorded before the move...haha! I was like what happened that Mika had to move back...lol! I'm glad rulers are so cheap because we lose them like it's no ones business. I'm finishing up school shopping tomorrow, but I'm upset that Prime Day is after our start date.
