Here at Orange 22 Fishing, our goal is to bring you exciting multi-species fishing content while we track down the elusive monster fish that inhabit our region. We are Dave and Matt, a couple of brothers from the great state of Delaware. You really gotta get a grip and just admit you were wrong for releasing the fish. Your poorly educated opinion goes against state regulations so reading your description is a moot point. Just follow the rules when you fish our state please.
@@Orange22Fishing That was over 5 years ago. The regulations were updated long before this video. It says verbatim "If you catch a northern snakehead, harvest it." It doesn't get more clear than that. Please stay current on the state regulations when you fish here. dnr.maryland.gov/fisheries/Pages/snakehead.aspx
Hey orange 22 fishing that's a really nice thing your doing meeting some of your subscribers nice job bud have a great day and God bless you and your family.
I got the idea to take a family vacation to DCL this summer mainly because of your DCL videos, we really liked where we stayed and the area in general but the boat traffic was unlike anything i'd ever seen before. We rarely felt safe out on my boat and my brother in law and I couldnt really fish at all, even off the dock. I get summertime is crazy up there but you guys seem to avoid the chaos pretty well. Is there any no wake areas or parts of the lake calmer for folks just wanting to cruise around and relax? rather than tube and ski? Dont want any secret honeyholes at all lol just safer areas of the lake if you knew any. Glad to see your back posting vids!
@@jacobfunkhouser6600 Glad to hear you took the trip out there! It really is an awesome area. Every time we go to the lake, we make sure to rent a place towards the back of the coves. Anywhere right on the main stretch of water is horrible with boat and jet ski traffic. The south-eastern part of the lake is normally where we stay. It’s usually quieter down there. Even there, there’s some traffic, but you can avoid it by fishing at first light in the morning. Any time before 11am is usually good
@@Orange22Fishing we stayed in the cove on the right side just south of Glendale Bridge and it was craaaaaazy. Ive fished the tidal potomac for snakes and its nothing compared to how busy DCL is. Lol but everyone had a great time anyways. Ill definitely take your advice because the fishing just looks to good to ignore. Thanks for getting back to me. Maybe ill see ya out there sometime!
@@jacobfunkhouser6600 I forgot to mention that time of year plays a huge part. We usually go during the first week of june every year. Full tourist season doesn’t really kick in until late June out there. But yeah, anywhere around the Glendale bridge is going to be nuts. If you ever see us out there or at a snakehead spot definitely say hi!
Definitely a nice looking color pattern. I love catching the smaller ones because of all of the pattern definition. Not complaining but when I catch a dragon I feel like they're always really dark, lol.
I take my hat off to you for having a collection you got and would not mind getting my hands on the Black and Gold ones as they were my favorite colors 6 inch as we used to call them papa.
I'm 17 currently and i have been fishing for snakehead particularly since 4 years, and im 100% sure that nobody else from my city has caught more than me, my personal best was 9 kg, but i flopped and lost one that was bigger than a cars dashboard 😅
