Hi, cool idea! Not at this time, but this is something we are looking into. Could you let me know what you were hoping to achieve with the API? I'd love to pass your feedback along to our developers.
@@ZebraBI If you have an API, we can build automation to generate reports. Input: clean and simplified data Output: Report dashboard After that, We can then edit the report if we want or not.
Zebra BI offers great product - best set of visuals by far for finance! Saves so much time while creating "crisp picture" - thanks to IBCS principles. One small comment on this video - around 14:40 you introduce "Business Units" dimension but showing "Accounts" instead - not sure if it's possible to edit now. Zebra's approach allows to build and visualize set of financial statements much faster than using standard Power BI features. Great content, thank you!
Great catch at 14:40-looks like "Accounts" snuck in where "Business Units" should be! 😅 Thanks for pointing it out! So glad you're loving Zebra BI and how much easier it makes things!
Hi, i am currently using 2019 but its not working, i searched zebra and it only showed Zebra BI Charts for Office, the second one, Zebra BI Tables for Office didnt pop up, please help me.
Please check that you are on the store tab when searching. If that is not the problem please refer to this: help.zebrabi.com/kb/excel/initial-setup-guide-excel/ If you still have problems please contact support.
Hey Zebra Team, cool video but it is really blurry with 720p. I would recommend recording at least in 1080p. On anything bigger than a small iPad it is hard to read. Best regards
Yes you are absolutely right, sadly this is an old video. I think we should do an updated 4k version with our new and improved tables visual :) Until then check out our Zebra BI Academy: academy.zebrabi.com/
My comments table need this ID column with YearMonthDescription (eg 202409ScrewDrop) to relate to my data model and of course a blank comments column. So, when I make this fact table, should I be copying out all the data which I need for the ID column? Is it meant to be like that? If so, it's not so practical as it's dynamic. This month, I will be looking at 202409Descriptions and the following month so on and so forth.
Great video. I appreciate how you broke down the different tools. For those looking for accurate info quickly, I found Myko Assistant helpful. It streamlines the research process much better than ChatGPT or other tools.
Thank you for checking it out! You can read more about it here: help.zebrabi.com/kb/power-bi/report-page-tooltips/ There’s also a video available. Let us know if you were able to make it work!
Hard to say but, check that you really have the column that you sorted in the visualization. I often make this mistake when I have similar columns in different tables.
This in only intended to be constructive criticism and I sincerely hope it does not offend. Maybe others would like an extended video, but I stopped watching at 2:22 because you still had not gotten to how to append tables using power query. a point of improvement is to try and be as direct as possible.
Thanks a lot for the feedback, we really appreciate it! 🙏 We’ve added timestamps to the video to make it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for. The section on appending tables starts at 3:44. Hope that helps, and thanks again for watching! 🚀
Hello Team, first of all, amazing work with the HTML feature, bravo! Now on minute 1:58 - the circle icon with the number 1 inside it is overlapping with the area of the highlight. Maybe putting (the icon) inside on the top left corner of this area would be better. Just a thought. Again bravo!!
Thanks so much for the awesome feedback! We’re really glad you’re loving the HTML feature. About that overlap at 1:58-you're spot on. We’ve noticed it too, and I’ve passed your suggestion on to the team. We’re working on it, though it’s been a bit of a challenge with the limited space. Also, I’ve got to say, I’m a huge fan of your Zebra BI on Power BI series and those Lego charts-they’re super creative! For anyone else reading, definitely check out www.youtube.com/@spilledgraphics/videos. Thanks again for the support and the great ideas!
Thanks for asking! We’re definitely aiming to bring the same features to all our products, including Excel. We can't say for sure just yet, but we’re working on it. Stay tuned!
Hello Dear I hope this message finds you well. I'm Emon, a professional digital marketer with a focus on RU-vid video SEO and Google Ads. Are you struggling with subscriber and video views ?. . I wanted to reach out and share how my expertise can help enhance your RU-vid channel's visibility and drive more engagement. I was analysing your RU-vid channel
It can do it on more advanced and less clean data as well, but please don't just take my word for it. Try it out on your data and let us know how it did.
This sounds like it would be easier to visualize with just a bar chart. If I am missing something send us a mail to our support and we can help you further.
Great to hear. Also check out this video for some cool things you can do with the calendar table: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xGNXqUfEqgo.html
That's excellent, Andrey! Your ZebraBI solution rocks for automated reports. No question. However, for static reports/presentations, one can just add the comments manually.
We are still training it for these kind of use. It works especially good on general sales data. If you need something specifically for PVM try one of our templates: zebrabi.com/template/price-volume-mix-analysis-power-bi-template/
Great tutorial! Thank you very much for sharing this valuable information. I have tried and it’s working properly! I have only one question , I don’t know how to solve it : If I set 1 button to chose sales (either QTY’s or Value/Euro) I need to appear currency when I press for Value. Could be possible to set in the same function “whole number “ for qty’s and “currency” for Value ? Dax formula: Current Year Sales ( QTY’s vs Value/Euro)= Switch( [QTY’s or Value Selection], 1,[Current Year QTY’s], 2,[Current Year Value] ) Thank you!
I think this could be solved with custom formatting on measure. If this does not work please reach out to our support with a demo file so we can help you.
You can find the arrows on the right side of any visual and can change the chart type with a click. Be sure you have: interactions -> chart slider enabled in the settings of the visual.
At this time there is no option for conditional formatting. There are other formatting options available at this time that you can find out more about here: help.zebrabi.com/kb/power-bi/quick-column-calculations-in-zebra-bi-tables/
@@shakesmakena4705 Thank you for your great proposition! I will let our development know. But it goes a little bit against the IBCS standards as the red and green are to be used for variances. Thank you!
if the resulting value is minus(-), can it be colored red? if the result is more than zero (0), can it be colored green? I hope you can help me regarding giving dynamic custom colors to column calculation results. thank you.
Thank you for watching! Looking back, I believe I aimed to make it as simple as possible by focusing on a single time frame. You make a great point, though. If you are creating this report, it's a good idea to make the calculations dynamic and use slicers on the calendar. Thank you for your input! Best regards, Matija
Would it be possible to have comments on a per business unit level? It seems like the comment column is limited to account group . But what if I have the same account group for each business unit? How can this be handled?
What I think you are talking about is a hierarchical P&L. Read more about it here: help.zebrabi.com/kb/power-bi/hierarchical-comments/ If this does not help. Please reach out to our support!
1. Yes, you should be able to change the color of AC or PL category by hovering over the category name in the chart. 2. In IBCS currency signs should not be a part of the data label as they should be shown in the title of the chart. But you can try reading the format from model: help.zebrabi.com/kb/power-bi/reading-format-from-the-model-in-zebra-bi-visuals/
Great update, especially the column width. Keep up the good work guys! And thank you for the new template, these always provide me with a lot of inspiration
Hi, I am not 100% certain I know what you are talking about but I think it is bookmarks. Check out this template to see how it is done: zebrabi.com/template/sales-dashboard-power-bi-template/
How would one prepare data if we have in on a monthly base (as usual) and we want to display month as a period and also as a cumulative ( YTD ) display ... (with ZBI) ?
Your best bet would be a pivot table. Check out how to structure the data here: zebrabi.com/dl/?t=template-excel&f=Consolidated_Financials_dashboard.xlsx
