Hi, I run 2 600 ft trot lines. Bait is spaced every 6ft. But I am going to build a new line and space them at least 8ft apart. My anchors are river anchors 12lbs and 18lbs (I use them for duck hunting too). The anchor lines for the trot lines are 20ft.
My recommendation from using 350 Legend for the past 4 or 5 years would be to get rid if the Lancer magazine and get C Products Defense magazines ,and more important than your feed ramps make sure your chamber is clean and smooth, polish it if you have the means. The straight wall cartridges need a really smooth chamber to feed properly.
Not sure you have been following this journey. Ramps are polished and good to go. Still was having some minor failure to feeds. Tried a heavier buffer, which is shown in this video and the heavier buffer was the ticket. The lancer magazine does not seem to be an issue.
Love your videos. Question for you. We got a Millenium seat and are looking to mount it to our aluminum crab boat bench seat. But our benches are wood not metal so we didn't want to drill. Wo during how you attached you seat to your bench. Is that a clamp.on seat bracket and if so how does.it work. We've run traps for.years but might switch to trotline, but we haven't found how we want to secure that prior stick to the boat. We really don't want to drill anywhere if we can avoid it. Looking to see if we can make a set up using a clamp. I see you run the pipe all the way across, but how do you secure that to your boat on each end? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Heather
Awesome. Please check out my other crabbing videos if you haven't! The attwoor seat clamp works ok, I crank it down and it still slips. I lash or strap my prop stick on the starboard and port side to hold it on place. I'll try to make a video of it soon and share it for ya.
@@agkohwhat buffet you got? I’m interested in the BCA complete upper with 350 legend for deer hunting and my current setup is mid length. I know it’s easy and doesn’t hurt anything to replace the buffet when switching upper but if it works why bother.
The whole industry. All those beautiful crabs. Paying all that money for a bushel. All the elaborate ways of cooking and the hassle of eating them. For a tablespoon of meat. I have never understood it and never will.
It's a good cartridge, just finicky in AR's. BCA and others use the 300blk feed ramps, Ruger, Browning , and CMMG uses a singular feed ramp and I heard it works better.
Winchester XP 180gr. The Hornady custom, and Winchester 150s feed much worse. I need to try the Winchester copper and some more Hornady types. The Hornady customs shot really well, but absolutely fed like garbage.
Yes. I absolutely love the 350 legend round for deer hunting. Granted herr in MD most of the state is straight walled cartridge for firearm season or slugs. I'll probably be buying a bolt 350 or more AR platform 350s in the next couple years. Very accurate. Very lethal.
That's a large scope for a rifle chambered in a not super effective cartridge past 200-250 yards. Definitely not saying it's a bad thing to have good glass for target visuals and if one really wants to push the .350 Legend out for fun can still ring steel at 600 yards but there's not much left behind that projectile at that range. With mine I just went to a 1-4x LPVO. I expect that's all I'm going to need to it's effective range for game. It's a sharp looking setup though and the M&P has been a solid base, I find it sad so many toss shade on the S&W M&P15. Mom gifted me a Sport II heavy barrel shortly after my Dad passed and it's a serious tack driver with 55grain bullets 1/4 MOA actually. I can stack 3 rounds dead on the bullseye all day within a 1/4" I'll never let that rifle go.
You might be right about overkill of the scope power, however, it's what I got and what is cheaper than what I don't and it works really well for this application. This is purely a deer setup and man is it awesome. Haters can hate on em, mine is great! Enjoy the setup and check out some more of my content! Suppressor is the next add on for this gun.
The sound is so off i've got a 20 hp tohatsu and when I refit it is way more aggressive It's on a 3 metre Inflatable rib With centre console I see About 24 knots Aluminium 3 blade 12 pitch
