Hello everyone! I am Professor K. I teach Maternal/Newborn and Fundamentals nursing. I have worked in Med/Surg and Labor and Delivery/Mother Baby units. I have my Master's Degree in Nursing Education and I am certified in Maternal Newborn Nursing and as a Lamaze educator.

I know just how difficult nursing school can be so I created this channel for nursing students to use as a resource to help make it a little easier.

Another viewpoint is that Pharma and their drugs are alternative nutrition, which will never replace Lipoic Acid, Melatonin, Mg, Glutathione, CoQ10 that either diminish with age (Fact) or are destroyed by Pharma's drugs themselves.

It's degrading and invasive. That's probably why they did it while I was unconscious. I would have objected to it. Nobody's going to force anything on me that I don't want. ☹️☹️😣😣

It’s pretty sad that doctors hardly ever get consent, they literally dump it on the nurses

This is an awesome summary. It’s really helpful when I can tie s/s to an organ or some physiology. For example epigastric or RUQ pain is related to an increase in liver enzyme in pre-eclampsia. Please correct me or share a better way to think about this! Wide spread organ damage pre-eclampsia: Kidney- oliguria, GFR decreased, proteinuria Liver- epigastric/ RUQ pain, increase in liver enzymes Microvascular- HA, dizziness, vision changes Brian- confusion, muscle irritability/hyperreflexia, risk for seizure Cardio/respiratory - edema, BP, SOB

Can I use a catheter on me every day ? Is this good to prevent UTI ? I know that ppl who get catheterized every 15 days will get UTI . Thanks .

You can use a catheter everyday if you have a medical reason for it but it increases your risk of UTIs.
