I bought an A400 Upland a few months ago and am very disappointed. It does not fit me worth a damn but I had nobody where i live. Is there a fix for it or just get rid of it.
To be honest, not many guns "fit" too many people. especially one thats supposed to be focused on bird hunting or purposefully made to be light-weight to make easier to carry around. If gun fit is big concern for you the only options you really have are 1) adjust the length of pull and add shims, if it came with it. or 2) get a custom stock made for it. Many folks get custom stocks made for semi-autos but usually for their competition guns. Many folks also will get custom stocks made for higher-end hunting guns but most are hard pressed to put a custom stock on something that costs half the amount of a pattern stock but to each their own right. If your using it for competition just because it is a nicer engraving that right on, everyone with whatever brand gun eventually goes through gun fit concerns. I even had my first A400's stock shortened for the wife to be able to shoot and it cost something like 100$ with a new pad fitted. Hope that helps, if not reaching out to folks like Cole's , Greenwood, or other gun fitters will definitely help. Not sure if you are meaning its too short, long, cast is all wrong, grip is terrible etc.
Really enjoyable with well thought lead-in questions. A welcomed listen where the host doesn’t continuously interrupt the flow of thoughts from their guest. Nice job Dawn Grant!
@@siavashhazini2061 ohhh ok that makes sense now. I wasn't thinking that type of choke. I swear I thought it was to go around the turkeys neck to choke it to death... damn
As always guys, excellent review. I’m shooting 34” threaded Parcour barrels and that extra sight plane length is a dream too shot even tho it’s a touch light on the front end.
Grace, just met you at the US Open, had no idea you are a champion shooter!!!! Sorry, as you know, I am a newbie, just thought you were a sales rep. Now I understand why your suggested improvements on my stance and mount were right on the money! Just bought that Caesar Guerini shot gun from Don. See you again at US Open, have subscribed to your channel. You are the best Ambassador to CG!
@@claylabusa Thank you, I hope she is still at the Caesar Guerini booth at the US open tomorrow, will swing by to say hello again. A lovely and talented young lady, very much enjoyed talking to her, learning about the CG guns and benefitting from her very helpful tips.
I bought my GF an L4S. She loved it. She handled an Elos Elevate and loved the taller rib so I bought one also. Now the L4S Elevate is out and I’ll probably be buying one lol. Great guns!
All good! Only gauges 12 and smaller may be used. Maximum loads for 12 gauges remain 1oz, 7-1/2 (Euro: 28g, 2.7 mm). Referees may check cartridges at any time and reserve the right to disqualify those found to be in violation.
Safe enough, absolutely. Foamies are truly safe enough, so im assuming the idea is to be able to communicate better at the range, filtered earplugs are better, than electronic hearing protection provides better benefits than that. Safety is key but truly all we are doing when spending more money on ear protection is buying more capability in communication and how many times we don't have to remove our ear protection in environments where it could be harmful to enjoy communicating with others. All safe, which ones best is just how much ease of communication matters to you. Regardless of the brand. Hope that helps!
Alrigh, guys, here's one that I'd love to see you tackle. Is there any performance difference between extended choke tubes and flush fit? Does that last inch matter(lol!), or is it simply weight and convenience? How about choke tube porting and recoil? Lots of videos looking at density and brand differences, but nothing scientific on these issues/questions.
Nice to see that they didn’t try and set super sporting on top of the sub gauge course. That’s a gigantic pet peeve of mine. When they do it they just destroy the sub gauge scores.
Been at it for just under a year and my instructor and mentor ALWAYS says to respect the journey, keep shooting, but most importantly, have fun!! Great video!!
Grace is an awesome shooter and a great person. You owe it to yourself to chat with her if you see her at an event or tournament. All of Caesar Guerini's brands are top notch and she represents the brand perfectly. Never salesy, just helpful, with great products and the best service in the business! Thanks for doing what you do, Grace!
Great point! That's one of the reasons why it was awesome to work with her for sure! As much as it's about sales to folks, I want to provide information, education and/or entertainment so I try to work with folks who understand that it's not all about saling things.
That's awesome to hear! Appreciate you for sharing. That's the hope that we are all looking for, others having a great experience out the gate that doesn't scar them with bad experiences in the beginning when this sport can be so good.
Thank you for taking the time to chat with us at World Sporting JP! 💜Hopefully the information we covered in this episode helps encourage more women to get into the shotgun sports and the related activities!
Thank you! And I want some too haha. I be there so please stop me if you see me! Would be great to meet you in person. Thanks for always being a supporter.
I have actually asked about that. Krieghoff chrome lines just the chamber portion of the barrels and polishes the barrels to a mirror like finish. The round about answer I got was that they found it unnecessary and saved money for the buyers instead of adding to the marketing hype over it.
Fewer pellets are required to break a spinning target than you experienced shooting a stationary target due to the stress of the centrifugal forces imparted on the target by the thrower.
The scientific question is how much force is required to crack a clay pigeon at various locations on the target. Is the kinetic energy in a single #7 1/2, #8, #8 1/2 or #9 capable of breaking the target at normal contact range. If not, how many pellets of each size is required? Being capable of launch a specific number of pellets at a fixed speed into the target, edge on, as most targets are encountered would be best. Additionally, the centrifugal force of the spinning target needs to be included in the experiment as the spinning clay is trying to break apart but is held together by the shear strength of the material. Hitting targets earlier rather than later in flight produces higher percentage of breaks not just because of pattern density but also because the spin rate is higher earlier in flight imparting greater centrifugal force on the target. Good stuff, but would love to see you go deeper while better controlling variables.
My pleasure brother! If you guys like more content like this ill start incorporating more of it. And Thanks for being a part of the Clay Lab Super Squad!
Another banger. I have been wanting to learn more about target setting. The more you know right😂. I also decided to take Anthony’s Matarese’s target setting course in December. Really looking forward to it.
That's awesome, you are definitely committed then cause that's really an advantage. Being able to turn the table around and unsterstand what the target setter is trying to do will benefit you tremendously.
I’m extremely impressed with CG and Fabarm in the last 10 years. They have really stepped up to fit the market and curate guns for specific groups of people at all price points. I have a Fabarm xlr5 velocity and I’ve been extremely impressed with the gun. I will be looking at getting a CG in the future.
