Update July 21, 2024: the current owners got a big wake up call thinking they could buy one of the top three most recognizable houses on the planet and avoid tourists. That multimillion dollar addition didn’t stop the tourists and now they think they can recoup that money by trying to sell the place for $5.25 million. Ain’t karma a bitch?
You know It would comfort me watching these apartment videos. It gave me hope that one day I’d move away and live in one of these cool apartments. These videos also gave me backroom vibes which is why it comforted me. Sad to see now that Joe has passed away. Thank you for all the great videos Joe
As long as poor people live in South Shore (as much as I'd like to see that community develop) there probably won't be any commercial development. Unless you count drug deals as being "commercially" productive. Poor keeps getting poorer, rich keep getting richer.
Noooooooo!!!! 😭🥺 I came back to check after some time. I have so many of Joe’s videos saved. He was such a comfort to me years ago as I looked forward to a new life after a painful one. I strongly disagree with this guy. I am a realtor and never hired an inspector who did not do a good job of informing of a house's defects. You want someone who is going to do a good job for your client to prevent any issues in the future an so that your buyers can make an informed decision. To hire an inspector who says they don't get referrals from agents is ridiculous. It's probably where most get the majority of their business. Who else would they be doing home inspections for? Makes zero sense.

This house has once again gone on the market and the new owners completely bastardized this once beautiful Georgian Revival. Wood floors are gone. Everything is cold black and white. French doors from dining to family gone. And a huge superfluous addition on the rear. So sad it’s been ruined.
Joe Zekas R.I.P. I might find that he hadn't updated since June 2023 which was the month that he was said to have passed away unexpectedly. My condolences to Zekas' family. Joe is survived by his son, Jordan, and his daughter, Valerie, as well as many other family members.
African Americans Need to be Held Accountable! This is your Doing! How in the Hell can a group of people be so Entitled and Delusional!??
