Hopefully that wasn't a real leopard coat she was wearing. It might have belonged to Jackie, who, when she wore one, almost caused the extinction of leopards. Hopefully this site will not glorify endangered species fur as "fashion".
If it was the leopard coat that belonged to Jackie Kennedy, then it was real leopard. Oleg Cassini, who often designed for Jackie, made a the coat made of leopard pelts for his prized client. It caused such a splash that the population of leopards plummeted worldwide to satisfy the demand for the trendy coats. We now live in much more enlightened times when artificial alternatives are available.
