That could be very well the reason he stopped. In Islam it is not allowed to hit people in the head. So if he is religious that could very well be the reason he stopped.. It involves attacking the face, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “If any one of you has a fight with his brother, let him avoid the face.” (Al-Bukhari, 2560; Muslim, 2612).
@@Ben-Dover777 it's just sparring not like any one cares, and he's a shrimp too. No one's going around with trophies for submitting ppl. It's like the time I rolled with Frankie Edgar he wasn't the same for weeks after. But to his defense I'm younger.
"Honey, my mom asked me today, 'Sweetheart, what is it about those fights that gets you going?' And I'm like, 'Mom, I'm not even sure what I'm looking at, but that body, oh my goodness, it's just... wow. And then I saw those lines, that power force on that canvas, and I was like, 'Girl, this is art.'"
This is pretty much all he has,a double leg and lay n pray. People dare call floyd boring but floyd has a higher finish percentage. Gsp is 85% lay n pray.
lmao, most of them in this video look like they never practiced takedown defense once in their life. These are very early days of MMA, when people were still figuring out what to do.
“I had ONE bad knockout in training, thinking I was sparring just another pro & that guy turns out to be Zabit back in February 2017. Dude is a nightmare even if you’re fully prepared, I didn't know who the fu(k he was… The guy is an f*cking ninja… Comes out throwing all these Sidekicks, Hook kicks, Then 2nd round he throws a 360 round kick… I didn't go out, BUT was definitely fu(ked up. I didn't see it coming, & it landed flush….it's on video, it's pretty nasty… Hopefully, Mark Henry leaves that in the archives!” --Aljamain Funkmaster Sterling
I Truly believe that In our MINDS...... Whenever we IMAGINE a particular situation which entails us HAVING to fight & being Victorious, ZABIT is EXACTLY how WE picture ourselves fighting!!
The single greatest wrestler in the UFC's history. Compare the amount of D1 and All Americans or BJJ masters (Penn) he dominated or cancelled out compared to someone like Khabib, who at best, had RDA (world champion grappler) and Gaethje (D1).
He's just so good at timing that takedown when the other dude is thinking about striking, especially ducking under punches.... or literally while the other guy is striking he's taking them down. So it becomes a huge dilemma to try to land shots on him knowing that that's what he wants so he can get to your leg/hips. Master of timing
I love watching strikers improve their overall game, it’s so satisfying, interesting and intriguing to watch them grapple with guys and really improve their grappling like Leon did. Real GSP vibes.
