Mystery not solved as person playing above using cheat , you couldn’t touch any sides and video above is cutting corners all over the place , the game was impossible to get anywhere . This belongs in nostalgia bin forever
Why you lie?. In this video I passed the game without cheating in one go. It cost me a lot of attempts, but it is possible, although I remember from my childhood how difficult it was. If you do not believe it, you can always play for yourself and see that everything is ok in the car collision system
I had never opportunity to finish this game. I cannot escape the trap from the beginning, where after my step a part of floor is vanishing. Later I claim "make step" spell, but it doesn't working. Is there any special solution?
I remember playing a black-and-white dos-rom version of this game, and this was the ONLY ending I got after defeating what was supposed to be the final boss in multiple playthroughs...
Year after year, I keep coming back to this classic. Between the one-frame kick, the hero crumpling pathetically into a fetal position, and the funeral dirge that plays with the very sudden game over, I laugh every time. I'm so glad this video exists.
A fantastic game, with nice music, superb graphics, quite a big map - and sort of a crappy ending (which is a pity). I played it as a kid quite a lot, but I never actually beat it, only as an adult - naturally, using a save-state-capable emulator 🙂
The elevator cranked along...the repetitive clunk of the winch grew more distant with each passing second. Each foot I descended pulled me further from the comforting light and sound of the world above. The world we rely on to feel safe. I hadn't realized it until that moment. The gaping darkness below overtook me, physically and spiritually. An unspeakable monster devouring its prey, which has resigned itself. Reaching the bottom of the shaft, the shudder of the platform at the hard stop unbalanced me. A man stepping from the pier onto a dingy during storm tide, flailing wildly to gain his sea legs. I adjusted my headlamp and looked into the chamber, which expanded in every direction from the entrance. I checked my remaining battery pack and cursed the short-sightedness of my design. The same juice powered both my purification breather as well as my Phantom Blaster...my only defense against the spirits of my departed brethren. I could be free of every supernatural horror...a man alone with nothing but the dreams of Avarice...and still die choking on fumes from guano. Stupid. The problem with experience is that you have to survive the lack of it the first time to benefit from it next time around. If there was one. I tried to control my breathing and stepped onto the rock. As I looked out across a perilous rock pathway with drop offs to both sides, I knew. I was alone and would likely meet the most gruesome of endings. And no one would even know. Everything I was or ever would be...swallowed up by the Earth...would simply cease to be to the world above.
Bought this on tape. Took an eternity to load and couldn't finish it. Then looking at this I really didn't know this was the whole game. Waste of time...
Adam Gilmore jest the best of all.

There is a third ending: run into the final room, then drop into fighting stance right before reaching the girl. Time it right and you can get off a punch and kill her.
Rofl classic , my friend use to make it to like the forth level , he was the fcking man back then , he use to have this awesome joy stick and just tapped it so slightly in certain parts , watching him was like the most amazing thing I have ever see a human do , video games are easy now . This shit was a real mans game ,even know we were just little kids at the time . I'm 43 now , we would of be about 10 years old lol . I use to sit in silence because I didn't want him to die lol
The very first game I ever beat back in 1985 or 1986 as a REALLY young kid... and this is exactly how it happened to me. I spiked the shit out of that indestructible one button Atari controller (I had it on C64)
Odi no robię coś takiego jak pokazywanie longplayów widzów. Jutro Atari s mam mało. Może polecisz coś od siebie, jakiś longplay? Mógłbym pokazać? Oczywiście z info o graczu i kanale.
Jak coś podaję ci wszystkie pięć moich longplayów-shortplayów : Snokie: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TpD7wTKWrG8.html Last V8: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7o2UDKgKFxE.html Jungle Boy: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oPQGhD-ngU8.html Neptune's Daughter: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-n6jtnHdXiss.html BC's Quest For Tires: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y8q9IMTnQ9w.html Muszę w koncu was odwiedzić. Thanks for posting this video. As you said the selection is always a subjective issue. My Top 3 would be: 1. Jet Set Willy, Rob Hubbard, 1984, Software Projects,Tynesoft CS 2. Vicky, Tomasz Liebich, 1993, Union Software Of Silesia Rousers, L.K. Avalon 3. Boulder Dash, Peter Liepa, 1984, First Star Software, First Star Software First two are not the best games ever made but i still think the music was really great and nostalgia wins again :-D Especially regarding Vicky as my first not pirated Atari game bought for 47000 zlotys (before the redenomination :-)
